After the dust has settled we really didn’t create enough and when we did Finsl ball or control let us down We really didn't look like scoring
Thsts three games against them this season and not one goal scored
The first yellow o it got there was no need to make the tackle imo
But our bigger games are the next two league games
So let’s see how we respond
Who cares how we respond, the season is over and thank god cause it’s been a miserable experience.

all stacked towards the uglies. They get the lions share of coverage and the spin.
no wonder impressionable kids get swayed - coverage is biased, stats ignored, even on Off the Ball today some weegie dude claiming Cormack (‘an owner who lives in the States’… ‘obv watches Scottish football through the [US style presentations ] he obv watches through the prism of [US presentaton].
Hell watch RedTV and engages with the muppets on social media ya flump!

That's the spirit, blame the manager for the players own stupidity.
Okay. It was 100% Monty's fault. Players do what they do. Manager's need to manage. Monty just abdicated his responsibility to the player (Obita), to the team and to the fans. One of the worst manager non-decisions Ive seen in years. Allowing Obita to get his 2nd yellow basically ended the game.

Strange take - I thought we were the team in the asdency all the 2nd half until the red cards
Even then we had a few half chances untill rangers scored into the final 10 mins

Totally agree, Hibs looked to be taking control in the second half, Rangers were looking leggy and their forward players had stopped tracking back. I felt it was only a matter of time before we got level. Then the sending off’s started, there was never a hope after that. Second booking was never a booking and the straight red was never red. Last week Celtic had a player sent off for high feet, this week it wasn’t even a foul, someone needs to explain these decisions. Incidentally the TV never even reviewed the high foot, I wonder why.

Does 4th place not get Europe? Win on Weds and we are 5 points off 4th. Livi at home next when St Mirren play Killie - win our next 2 games and we'll be in the mix for 4th.
Saying nothing to play for seems a bit of an emotional reaction- not that I blame you, that was hugely frustrating

Can't believe what I'm reading.
We were the better side tonight, performed well. Lacking a bit of magic when needed.
Cheated by a penalty that never was, and two red cards that never were. Hibs were never allowed to win that game tonight, it was obvious from the get go when we should have had a penalty for the high boot.
What's the actual point in going to games? The results are known prior. It was already decided. Hibs need to cut them down to the minimum allocation. We won't need the money now.
Basically done with Scottish football at this point. It's a complete sham.

I had a good view of the incident from the east and I thought it was a penalty straight away. Would have been screaming for it if the roles were reversed. I hoped the VAR was looking at the Boyle foul beforehand, but on reflection they'd only look at that if it had been a goal rather than a penalty?

Obviously it was never getting overturned
Either for a foul on Boyle or the dive by Sterling
I actually think it wasn't a foul in either

If that’s what was said, and it’s left at that … then that’s that. You wonder what’s being said behind the scenes for truth to be kept under wraps like this, all over football up here. It’s totally and obviously controlled to keep the status quo.

We absolutely were not the better side.
Considering rangers had a game in Portugal on Thursday night & we had a full week's rest it was quite a disappointing performance overall
Yes decisions influenced the game in the end but at the same time we had too many players who were off it. Obita & Maolida for example

Surely preferable to being down to 10 though. He could arguably have been booked for pushing the sub off the field, it was only a matter of time before he gave McLean the chance to send him off.
It was hardly a push he gave them as they dithered and wasted time coming of the pitch, he simply put his hands on there back and motioned for them to move of the pitch, the 4th official basically blocked the player and physio from leaving the pitch as the huns were trying to make a sub and the 4th official helped them in wasting time.
Yes Obita was not on his best form but the ref was itching to send him off, that’s wrong.

Looked like a push to me. I thought the ref might book him for raising his hands (I'd lost track of him already being on a booking).

I thought we were the better side for the majority of the first half, and particularly the first 15 minutes of the second half. Everyone round us agreed, Im getting texts from Rangers acquaintances saying the same.

Nail on head.
If Obita got through the rest of the game without giving them a reason to send him off then Goldson and co would have fabricated one, which was exactly what happened in the end.
It was a travesty but NM should have seen it coming.
Regarding NM, he is hoping the ref does his job properly and neither the incident with the physio or his second yellow were yellows, but the ref gave it, the manager will be more fuming with the ref than Obita.
Unlikely to show Boyle until they 100% sure he is ok

Agreed.
We did not play well enough to win the game. Fact.
Obita deserved to be sent off and let the team down badly with his performance all through the time he was on the park. Really don't know what got into his head tonight and was uncharacteristic based on his recent performances.

Which is to be expected against a side who has 1 player worth more than our whole team
2nd half we were well on top and didn't make the most of our chances (especially the 2 on 1 with myziane and Youan)
Rangers were hardly in the game the 2nd half until the 2 players were sent off
Even then we had a couple of half chances we should've done better with until they eventually killed the game with 5 mins to go
Don't really get the we were ***** takes on that to be honest

I thought we competed well but showed a real lack of quality in the final third. So many good positions, particularly the start of the second half, that just came to nothing. Despite all the refereeing ****, I thought we let ourselves down and missed a bit of an opportunity.

When we had 11 on the park yes we were. We were a penalty goal down well on top at the time of the reds. Hiw many times have you seen a Rangers team come to ER and waste time? They new we were week in the game and bossing it. It’s this 90 min of game time to make the judgment and what the opposition did or didn’t do in the run up to it or what we were up in the same timeframe has nothing to do with it.

I care as we need to finish in top six and then see if we can get fifth
Finishing bottom six isn’t an option for me
The Rangers have improved under the new Manager so a win last night was always going to be a big ask
Fail to win next two league games and would agree then Season is over
