I couldn't believe my ears when Johnson said fine margins and went on to excuse that for losing a goal 30 seconds after equalising. That's not fine margins, it f***** s**** defending. Identical to the 3rd St Mirren goal. We really are in a rut and I cannot see anyway out of it if we simply stick with what we've got.

The number of times Youan and Boyle lost the ball today must be some sort of record for 2 players combined. Absolutely dreadful stuff. No wonder we lose so many goals considering the amount of times we give possession away cheaply.

Pre season we were all excited about the prospect of Boyle and Youan starting together.

The reality has been that we just give them the ball and hope for a bit of magic. That takes precedence over any game plan to pass the ball through the thirds.

Neither of them track back effectively - Boyle basically doesn’t even try the majority of the time.

They’ve obviously had their moments in terms of goal contributions but they’re a massive part of why we’re so unbalanced and can’t defend.

Delferriere performed above expectations but that’s about it I thought.

Also thought that was one of Youans worst games in a hibs top and it was another awful performance from Fish. Has his confidence completely gone now? Looks a shell of the player he was at the end of last season.

I think the 2 of them but especially yuan is being hung out to dry by the system. He makes mistakes no doubt but most of the time we gave him the ball and expect him to do something without support. Wether it be against 1 2 or even 3 defenders. They both play better when put in behind. Get youan through the middle where he is more effective

He’s hopeless through the middle he’s by far an away more effective playing wide the unfortunate thing is he’s better on the right side IMO

Spot on regarding Boyle and Youan, looked promising on paper but hurting the team in the long run when played as an attacking 3, I'm not sure if a 4-4-2 would address this situation.

Really **** goals to concede yet again with us struggling to breakdown Livingston at home for most of the game.

We were diabolical and never in control of the game but you things two thirds of the midfield did well? Our midfield has been so poor for so long that expectations of what is good have fallen so far.

Thought Delf had a decent game. Also liked what Obita was doing in the 1st half although some of his crosses were over hit. It was a simple tactic to get half a yard and swing a cross in early. We should be getting more people around the box when the ball goes wide to him to win any knock downs.

Youan needs to learn that he doesn't need to beat a man every time he gets the ball especially when the better option is a 5 yard pass.

Think Boruc was 1 step too far to his right when the shot was hit but being honest it had to be a worldie to score from there. Thought he kept us in it with the 1 v 1 after Fish getting caught out again.

Feel Fish has been our weakest defender since returning, he really needs to get back to his best or i`d drop him for Rocky.

Couldn't agree more.

Youan repeatedly marked tight by two/three Livi players all game, whilst the rest of the team stand around like statues praying he'll produce something without them bothering their arse.

He's frustrating as hell, but he rarely got any support today, and he's left playing his own game a lot of the time due to how isolated he repeatedly finds himself.

We must be the slowest team in the league, not only in possession, but particularly when getting players forward in support of the ball carrier.

Every single week is the same.

We have no way of playing. It’s a case of hoping Youan or Boyle produce something (as Boyle did our of absolutely nothing today).

I don’t think we have a brilliant squad but I think a competent manager organises them and gets us doing a lot better than Johnson. I honestly can’t figure out how a manager with 500 games fails to get a team even remotely organised.

I didn’t get in until after they’d scored (and I’m led to believe it was pretty grim prior to that) but I honestly didn’t think the centre of midfield was that bad today - I didn’t even think Newell was that bad either.

Jeggo by all accounts could and should have done better at their second, I’ve not seen it back and couldn’t recall that. I’d also say that we were decent enough at getting the ball into dangerous enough areas around their box but then not looking like doing anything much with it. That was more on the forwards than the central midfielders imo.

I outlined who I thought was poorest and where the game was lost. It wasn’t in the centre of midfield today imo.

Tbh I thought our attacking play was generally very poor but we still found a way to score 2. We win that game if we defend better.

I thought Bushiri was good, defensively won his battles and was composed on the ball, wanted to drive us forward.

Obita was decent and linked well with Youan.

Youan was our biggest threat for the most part, for every moment of decent play there was a frustrating as **** one, and the moment that led to the third livi goal was just dreadful.

Boyle was great for his goal, and that was about his sharpest bit of play for the whole game.

Doidge was given nothing and didn’t offer much.

Jeggo, Newall and Delf I thought were all decent, we controlled the majority of the ball thanks to them.
