Who thought mckirdy, cabraja, fish etc would improve us?
Awful waste of money.
As for the manager - not for me. 3rd place is there for the taking and now we are struggling even for top 6. Shocking
If Johnson doesn’t win the derby next week then he must go.
Fish is fine. I dont know why you've included him unless you wait for one mistake to jump on our players, The other two I agree have been poor.

Sack him now. 15 losses out of 31 games has to be unacceptable if we have any ambitions of being a top team in Scotland.
At least 10 players need shipped out too as they are not good enough for Hibs.
Dundee Utd are absolutely terrible and they’ve beat us again.
Almost at my whits end with Hibs and Scottish football.
Sack him quicker than Goodwin that’s what he deserves

Goin to be some game next week, I’ll be watching from behind the couch
We’ll get pumped off them again, let’s not pretend.
Johnson should be gone tonight.
The players go into that game knowing if you win today you go into the derby with a chance to go above hearts. And that’s the performance you get ? After last weeks shambles as well.
Bunch of absolute donkeys and that includes the manager.

Think you'll get your wish, can't see the Gordon family being overly interested in a Scottish football club, that was Ron's dream.
Yeah I'd imagine they are actively looking to sell. No reason for them to stay involved.
Hopefully that's why they brought in McPherson as Chair, to start the search.
Also think it's unlikely we'll see the DoF role happening. That will be the call of the new owners.

Ref gave us nothing and we couldn’t get a break but the majority of this team aren’t good enough, Youan didn’t have a great game lost out on the wing but with 4 minutes to go he had more chance of making something happen than Jair. We’re could end up heading out of the top six which would be an absolute travesty for a club our size. Midfield not being fixed is unacceptable.

I would of took a point in the end but a crazy decision from fish has cost us that point.
Overall not good enough again for 90 minutes and didn't see no reaction when the second half kicked off, should of made subs at half time.
Myko made a little difference but these changes should of been made long before, Nisbet unlucky with his free kick but should be putting us 0-1 up early.

First one I highlighted before the game as an issue and area they would target.
Second goal, I think anyone watching or that has played football is screaming that the gap between EJ and Fish was too big. A huge gap from a throw in, the only place that is ever going is in to fletchers feet.

What a terrible end to an awful season. United’s first win in 12. Now watch us resurrect a dreadful Hearts side in free fall using nothing more than our own ineptitude.
If Johnson survives this you really have to question the ambition of the board. The fans have been brilliant this season and followed the team in numbers. We are entitled to expect more in such an awful league.

Anyone out there willing to argue that things have not been a mess with recruitment and management over the last 2 -3 years is delusioned.
Today we were against the bottom side who had not won in 10 games then we rock up. 2 disasterous cup runs and a league campaign of 12 wins and 16 loses is abject failure.
Need to get a coherent structure at the club with people who are qualified in their roles.
Binning the likes of Johnson and his recruitment team who have signed the likes of McKirdy, Henderson, Cabraja, Tavares and loads others is a start. Will cost a fortune to pay off these players as they will not be worth anything in the transfer market.
Today was predictable. Wish I did put my mortgage on Hibs losing. As usual they did give a glimmer or hope for a few minutes or so then this current lot revert to type and let you down again.
Shambles.

Don't forget our derby record this season. What a manager. Give him another window, that'll fix things...
There's not a single metric he'll be performing on. Should have gone in January at the latest.
Coach Jon

Annoying as **** to lose that
We were not good, but the better team by far
Felt McKirdy should have been awarded a pen, esp if they are giving the one against us, which was basically the same apart from McKirdy had two players on him
Still, I'm not overreacting. I'm done with firing managers on a whim. Makes nothing better.
Im sticking with LJ and think another window where we have a decent strategy in place...ie Jan not last summer....will be good for us.
Hate losing this game though. Such an opportunity missed
Next week, we go again
Dundee United deserved to win that game, should have had the game sewn up before our equaliser. Johnson took far too long to make the changes, 58 mins I think it was before the first sub.
We have a team where the MF has ZERO creativity, this has happened under Johnsons watch and is not acceptable.

Shambles.
Completely agree but in LJ’s defence, it was Maloney who signed Henderson.
I don’t like any of these players, that’s the stand out for me. With no Boyle, I just can’t connect with the players and management team.

Johnson can GTF , bizarre team selections then makes strange substitutions.
Myko doing well before he got injured Nisbet back from injury . Both have been fit for a while but never started together.
Time for him to getta take his psychologicists , world class ball boys etc with him .
Like a few others just shelled out £400 for next campaigns season ticket the thought of that clown still being in charge is frightening. Every chance we could be in the bottom 6 this season as well .
That shower over the road are currently on a bad run wonder who they would like to play next ?

Its a dissapointing result.
But i dont understand people wanting rid of the manager, think about it. He's only got CJ (a right back) and Will Fish to choose from.
Thats what cost us our defence.
Ryan Porteous, Paul Hanlon, Rocky Bushiri all better options.
Its the lack of centre back options that is seriously concerning.
I think Johnson needs the summer, with Rocky and Boyle back and a few additions we'd be a far different team.
The argument of once we get players back we will world beaters must surely be eating thin,no having a go at yourself, but always read that we just need players back.
We need a better squad and possibly a better manager.

Injuries have been very unkind to us this season. Boyle, Nisbet, Hanlon, MacGennis and McGeady have been unavailable to us for most of the season.
Boyle who must be a massive chunk of our expenditure is a huge loss. Without him we are mediocre at best.

There is absolutely contact. Fish's reaction tells you all you need to know.Contact with his arm
I can't see any contact with his semi awkward swipe at the ball
He throws himself to the ground- no contact has caused him to go down
I've watched the replay lots of times and it's so soft it should never be a pen - especially in the days of var
Its another terrible call by VAR
I say that as someone who was shouting at the TV and fish when the pen was given but based on replays var should not be letting that stand
We have brought a situation where we are analysizing event and looking for any contact - watching EPL puts us to shame with var
It hilarious that on one instance boyd saying VAR is embaressing for giving the foul against morelos yesterday and today it's clever from fletcher when there's even less contact than morelos on the celtic rb during the OF match
None of them should be fouls btw

This isn't 'on a whim' though, is it?
He's been on two horrific runs of losses, been beaten twice by the team bottom of the league, who have won six games all season and looks likely to now finish bottom six.
Add that to the two cup exits and there's literally no argument for keeping him other than 'cant keep sacking managers'
Get him to ****.
You could list a string of negatives for almost any manager in the game.
I just don't feel the long term solution is punting a manager and starting the whole thing over every 8 months

Fish knew straight away it was stupid and a penalty.
I'm watching Leeds - Palace now and the ref just gave a free kick for a shoulder to shoulder challenge. The games gone as far as any contact is concerned.

Hopefully that's why they brought in McPherson as Chair, to start the search.
Also think it's unlikely we'll see the DoF role happening. That will be the call of the new owners.

Lennon left us in a mess and I actually think that's around the time our midfield started to decline badly and that's not taking into account how unpleasant him leaving us was , he then went back to Celtic and spent over £30 million on total duds and lost out in winning 10 in a row in what was a really bad season.
What really needs to happen first asap is a decent DOF appointed and then the squad needs to be changed with at least 8 players moved on and replaced by quality. I totally get why everyone wants the manager sacked though my opinion is our problems run a lot deeper than just the manager. Maybe everyone will get there wish and he will be sacked though the ones wanting Martindale , McInnes and Lennon or the two latest name's ( kettlewell & Scott brown) aren't coming up with anything decent that I think will fix our team or are any better!!

What I saw wasn't a penalty. Two guys going for the ball, Fletcher dived pure and simple knowing the situation and which you could see in his reaction to it being awarded.
When two players are chasing a ball and there's a slight amount of contact your body doesn't lunge forward arms out in front of you in the shape of a horizontal diver, it collapses in an unnatural manner. It's called cheating and it's become the norm.
Sadly they're all at it nowadays with Nisbet being another today, spoiling the game, yet still referees get taken in with their fannying about.
