You may have posted these before but any chance of an insight into what’s on the list?

Also are you able to share any thoughts on a revamp / return of the BTG’s? This was a sore point for many when it was lost (even tho it always felt it could be better) and the reason for it being binned never seemed to come to pass….

I’ve said on other threads that I’m sure our new CEO is going to be rather more open to this kind of stuff but would be good to hear if you have any initial thoughts on Ben and his areas of focus.

Good point, but if I put my phone on full-rotation mode I find it rotates all by itself, meaning I have to rotate myself to look at it.

Could we also have white or green cladding on the insides of the stands instead of the minging Perspex, black or green goal nets, the walkways painted white and actually cut in properly as the current paint job in the East is shocking, and if we could get the turquoise seats changed out for a nice darker green that would be smashing, not asking for much I know, thanks in advance mate :greengrin

Yup - it’s small things like this that make the place just look better for those walking / driving past etc.

We go on about community - well we need to have a stadium the community is proud of and well maintained.

I believe Ron will improve the stadium and already is with the screens and improved branding etc. It will take time but really hope they start looking after it as sadly it’s been neglected.

The thing that annoys me prob more than it should is the weeds at the edge of the pitch and around it , we have a cracking looking pitch then for some reason we just leave the area between it and the stands a mess

Looking at the pics there, if the bottom of the screens sit at the top of the existing steel work, I’d say that would be pretty damn perfect.

Looks like it would be roughly in line with the top tiers in north and south.

Stick an advertising board above with flags on top and it will look sound.

Hearts did similar replacing loads of their faded pink ones with newer maroon ones. Just looked like a cheap fix.

I much prefer solid blocks but ours are 20 years old and looking a bit crap now too. Replace with a nice dark green and paint all the steelwork the same.

Unless they're Lego men the workies in the second picture give a good measure of how tall it'll be and the first picture gives an indication of width. It looks to me like it'll be a similar size to the one at Reading - which is plenty big enough - but it won't be quite as wide. I think I'd like to see it a bit higher though.

It actually probably makes a lot more sense financially from a maintenance perspective as well.

If you want the stadium to look smart and all the seats are the same colour, you'd have to replace them all at the same time (especially red/maroon as these colours sun-bleach quicker!).

With Minecraft seating (or Tetris for the older generation), it wouldn't matter a ****, just stick a new seat in whenever you felt like it.

If you watch the above highlights. the mass of empty green seats emphasises the sparsity of the crowd, whereas it's far less obvious where there are multicoloured seats behind the goals.

That is exactly the first thing I think of when Hibs release a purple top, or when I got purple added into my Hibs tattoo. Hibs in purple, what a bunch of elitist, highfalutin show offs. Multicoloured seats look absolutely bowfin in my opinion. Purple seats scattered around is making me feel nauseous. We have a stunning stadium in a magnificent colour. Why would we want to change it?

Actually in Scotland at least, as far back as the 1600s, purple was one of the most popular colours of the very lowest classes. This was due to it being the easiest/cheapest dye to produce.

(The only reason I know this is because of a source analysis I had to do for an Early Modern Scotland exam at uni)

There is one between the north and west that has managed to get to about 8 feet high.

They're a bit more weathered than the others because they're older, but they don't look so bad in reality.

South Stand has roof tiles that allow natural light to get through for the benefit of the pitch.

That was all part of the original plans, replacing advertising boards with ribbons.
