Just as an aside, I would be quietly interested to know just how much Hibs fans have invested into the club recently,
HSL
clubstore, strips, etc...
ST,s
Face in the crowd
Hibs TV etc,etc
it must be an absolute packet?
Anyhoos ah dont really need to know, just sayin likes...
I'd guess somewhere in the region of around £4 million perhaps?

Cheaper than a credit card though so I am not complaining
Get an interest free credit card and pay it off before interest kicks in. Might still be a % charge though I guess.

The pie Q will be massive.
No Hibee bounce..
Can you imagine pubs before games.
Why not?
That stupid thing the Celtc Fans do (The Poznan?) will need to be banned, as it involves them all cuddling each other in a vaguely homo-erotic manner... but surely jumping up and down on the spot is no problem?

Hibs could break 10k and Aberdeen and hearts will still be the headline teams getting praised for selling lower seats.Funny, I was thinking that too.

Further positive feedback for the ticket office - I called up yesterday having emailed over the weekend re a further seat swap.
The North American lady I spoke to indicated that they were dealing with renewal issues yesterday and would be turning to swaps today - but as I'd taken the time to follow up on my email by telephoning, she'd process it there and then.
Credit where credit is due - and we now have excellent seats - couldn't have asked for better!

I was told we'll be able to log into Hibs TV to watch matches using the season ticket reference number, and further information will be provided shortly. I don't expect there will be any major rush to issue cards until such time as we will be getting back into the stadium, but then again the club might just want to get it done.

Difficult to say: I would have assumed so too, but still a surprisingly large number of excellent seats available which I would have anticipated purchasers of new season tickets to have snapped up by now. Take, for example, the pair of seats available, side by side, in Section 41, Row F of the East Stand right now. Bang on the half way line, more or less; far enough back to have reasonable shelter from rain and probably high enough so that the constant foot traffic in immediately in front of those in Row E doesn't disturb you. Or, if you want to be closer to the action, four out of a bank of five seats are available in Section 41, Row D.

Still a good number of very good seats available in Section 41, right on the half way line in the East.

I think we might have hit a natural ceiling for this season at somewhere between 10,500 - 11,000, probably closer to the lower number to be fair given how many decent seats remain available. There might be a few more sales as the season’s eve approaches I suppose.

On the basis football has returned by year end I could see a record number of half STs being bought. Majority of the group I stand with in the East haven’t renewed but have one eye on ahalf ST if we’re back playing at ER.

Some cracking seats still available for smaller groups or pairs too, there definitely wasn’t as much choice this time last year.
If we start the season well and shift loadS of half STs we might get near to the same as the last few seasons.

Looks like we have barely sold a season ticket after a small post seat release flurry.
Hoped we would reach 11,000 but that looks a forlorn hope now.

One thing I know the club has been very good at this year is calling up solo season ticket holders and asking if they would mind moving by a seat to free up / create a pair. That would allow some first class groupings of seats to be available in Section 41, bang on the half way line in the East, even now.

It's not bad to shift over 10,000 tickets despite there being no guarantees that it would get the holder into a single match.
I don't expect many more will go until the grounds are fully re-opened. I then expect a brisk sale of half (or two thirds) season tickets.

There will be no spectator attended football in the U.K. this year.
How do you play football and practice social distancing?
I don’t think there will be any football played at all until there is a vaccine.
Players cannot be put in danger of catching the virus from a team mate or an opposing player.
It’ll be tough but if it saves lives, I’m all for it.
Never going to happen that social distancing will be implemented at mass gatherings. Crowds will either be allowed or they won’t.
All fans will be banned until it's safe for all fans to attend.
There's no way some fans will be allowed and some won't, on a game by game basis.
It would be a logistical nightmare.
Social distancing in a football stadium, wishful thinking but it simply ain’t happening, it’s either all or nothing.
Stop kidding yourself, there will be no football or mass gathering events until all can attend.
You seriously think that the authorities would permit football clubs to hold matches in their stadiums whilst telling a huge proportion of their fans that they can’t attend because the small portion that will be allowed in the stadium are social distancing?
Come on get real, it ain’t happening!
If I am wrong and it happens I will donate £100 to the Dnipro Charity.
I don’t need to read that to know that it won’t be happening at major football matches, trust me!
Forget the practicalities of implementing social distancing at Easter Road. From a financial perspective it’s just not going to be viable to operate with vastly reduced crowds.
Just like a pub or restaurant, a football club can’t cover costs if they are operating with 25% of their potential customer base in the building.
Everything you hear suggests that this virus spreads like wildfire. Until there is a vaccine I agree there is no chance of spectator sport within that timeframe.
Scotland won’t partially open stadiums.
It will be closed doors or fully open when they do return.
Possibly closed doors from August till Xmas then January fans fully allowed into stadia.
I don’t think there will be fans until an antidote is found.
I can't believe anyone is seriously thinking that social distancing would try and be implemented at football grounds. We'll either all be in there or not, if there is still a need to have some form distancing in the general population there'll not going to let any large gatherings of people......anywhere. Appreciate all the thought and consideration people have put into around how it might work but really?.....empty rows, every few seats empty, leave row at a time, families sitting together, friends not sitting together.....by the time everyone is strategically sat the game will be over[emoji85][emoji23] Social distaning = no football fans in grounds.
So we have established,
1. Social distancing under current 2m guidelines would be impossible.
2. Any attempt at social distancing relating to seating arrangement would not be potentially viable.
3. The ST revenue will already be in so more cash to be paid, in fact a massive expense to man and implement procedures within the stadium.
4. We can’t trust football supporters to behave in a controlled manner, far too many are totally adverse to authority when at a football match.
5. We can’t control the element that would decide to be in the vicinity if they weren’t allowed in.
And so on.
I look forward to when we can all return to ER, until that happens nothing else will.
The deluded are multiplying during this lockdown
And yet here we are today, 30th of July being advised that come the 14th of September Sports Stadia can re-open with limited spectators and social distancing.

I see I’m quoted in there but would add some context around what I said. My argument was a financial one. Clubs would have struggled to let anybody in if they had to refund others. With no streaming arrangements in place at that point they’d undoubtedly have had to do that if some were getting to see games and some weren’t. They might still face some challenge but the streaming will alleviate most of that. Hypothetical, I know, but if there was no streaming in place I think clubs would have had to think twice about letting reduced number in.
Still no guarantee we’ll be in in September either.

In retrospect you’re right but hey ho, its done now but I’m sure I’ll survive the deserved criticism for acting like a petulant dick.
My problem is that I hate negativity, the naysayers, the “it’ll never happen” brigade or the doomsday merchants and it seemed a decent post at the time to highlight how a little positivity and forward thinking can help.
There’s folk, literally, terrified of leaving the house these days as they believe that a deadly virus is stalking them (I’ve used the FM’s words here) and they seem incapable of thinking past the headlines or taking a rationale approach.

If you find yourself getting riled up by what you read online and feel it’s turning you into.a “petulant dick” (your words) it may be worth logging off the internet for a while to reconnect with the real world and de-stress a little ✌️

I just downloaded it onto Google pay and it's just your QR code that is on your card, well done Hibs and Ticketmaster for this one as it will come in handy

The last Season Ticket update last week stated we would be receiving correspondence regarding a digital ST... so it may not be a scam.
That said i haven't received one.... yet.

Will be very handy but can anyone confirm that we should still be sent the Plastic ST Cards as well?

If you've moved you should be sent a new card (http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/10706):
Please note, if you renewed your season ticket during the offer period and are still in the same seat and price class, your 2019-20 season card will be reactivated.
Only new season ticket holders and those who have changed seats/price class will have new season cards posted out.
If you require a new season card - whether you've damaged or lost your existing one - please get in touch with the Ticket Office via
[email protected].
