Perfect storm brewing up for April/May which is either going to end in unlikely glory or yet another calamitous season for Hibernian FC.
At best, it could yet be the greatest season any of us have ever experienced.
However, it could just as bad as Butcher 2014.

Stubbs must be on the brink,
We are on the worst run in out clubs history 4 loses on the bounce in the 2nd division is disgraceful
:agree: He looked like it from the TV pictures. Where do you start after watching that pile of s****?
A terrible team performance all round. Maybe only Stokes looked the part.
If a team or player cannot put the ball in the net like the one Cummings missed tonight then they deserve all the get, and that is f*** all. In the second half Hibs could have played all night and never scored. Balls into the box were awful, and when a decent ball was finally put in Cummings contrived to fail to score. Incredible.
Once again Hibs start the second half of a match slowly and concede a poor goal defensively. They just are not learning.
Someone who seems immune from criticism is John McGinn. He has been good earlier in the season, but recently he has been poor and ineffective. Keatings - where was he tonight?
Hibs are going nowhere with performances like this, as we watch our season disintegrate in front of our very eyes. Can't score and can't defend.
FFS four consecutive losses against teams like this is totally beyond a joke now. There was someone posting the other day that Hibs could still win the Championship if Hibs "maxed out", and The Rangers lost 4 of their next 7 games. Unbelievable.
Better get used to playing in s***holes like Starks Park again next season in front of crowds of 2,386.

Not buying this tired nonsense. 3 90mims games in a week should be easy at that age. tennis players don't get "leggy" with 3hr matches every 2 days. Plus they went on bloody holiday the week before.
Stubbs is doing the same mistakes time n time again. Getting very frustrating now

We deserve nothing it has to be earned but why o why do we persist with either a diamond or 442 when 352 has been our best formation when we have played it.
If I am being honest we have been poor in the league for quite a while and I now just want this season over.
Am as gutted as you Aldo but its a bit early for wanting the season over
We have a rest period to get some players back ,and Stubbs to work with the players
On the down side Mcginn Cummings and Henderson could play in internationals when they could maybe do with a rest
But Aril is shaping up as crucial now ,and if we cant handle three games a week we will be in trouble then .

That seems to be the usual rubbish when real genuine Hibs supporters dare to actually call a spade a spade and lay it on the line.
That performance was p*** poor tonight. Beaten by a team of hammer throwers after getting a goal of a start is just not good enough. I love Hibs, but it's time some folk stopped living in cloud cuckoo land.

I joined this Forum because I thought it was created as a place, where people could constructively support Hibs. While in no way condoning tonight's shambolic performance, the posts tonight have been nothing short of disgraceful. To call for Stubbs' head, when we have suffered Calderwood,Fenlon and Butcher is ludicrous.
I still feel that the club is belatedly now on the right lines and I only hope that the good people now in charge are given the time to finish the job, without the self appointed experts dragging everyone down.

Aldo, at the moment I couldn't agree more. We should be delighted with reaching finals, semi-finals but this league campaign has been tedious. I really just want this season over.

Okay so what sets the current team apart from a Fenlon one for example?
Two Scottish Cup finals and 5th in SPL when he left.
I understand the fact that you want people to be supportive but you are happily criticising previous managers.
3rd in the Championship and we've just lost 4 league games in a row. When do people have the right to add Stubbs to your list?

Yet another game we dominate and lose. We can't take chances and can't prevent other teams scoring.
A lethal combination.
Just one of those days?

It's all about records though. Stubbs still has the opportunity to make this a good season but if we don't win the Scottish Cup or get promoted his record will be one of our worst ever.
Supporters being worried is totally justified.

TBH, that's always been my main gripe. Total lack of urgency.
You just have to look at the way other teams attack us.
Yep lack of urgency is. Key issue Raith had it at start of second half and got the winning goal at that point

It's been an absolute roller coaster this last 5 or 6 weeks, beating the yams getting to the final, losing the league in one ****ty week, getting to the cup semi, losing the final. WTF happens next ?

Ronnie our league form has been dreadful and tbh I'm fed up (like many others) with persistently playing the same formation etc when it doesn't work.
I said after Sunday's game that Stubbs should have played 352 and I'll say it again tonight.
We seem to play better and there is a better shape to the team.
We have too many players off form IMHO.
I hate criticising players and I won't pick out players individually but we have 3 or 4 players who Defo need a spell on the bench!
Gunnarrson has been very good when he played and he deserves a chance.
Boyle is another IMHO that deserves a run in the team, maybe even at RWB.
I think the last few weeks shows exactly how much we miss Hanlon, McGeouch and Fyvie!!
We now need to win all our remaining league games to at least finish 2nd as I think that's is the best we can achieve.

Far too weak at the back. We give away far to much too cheaply. We cannot defend high balls into the box.
2 shots on target for them today and 2 goals. Not good enough.

Apologies if I came over a bit strong in my reply to your post, but I'm just totally sick after that performance and result tonight. If Hibs deserve praise they will get it in spades from me. However, if they perform like that tonight, I'll call it as I see it.

Griffiths cared in Fenlons team.
Everyone cares in this team. Think that may be the difference when going into the play offs.

Our defending is absolutely abysmal and leaving us chasing games against packed defences who are throwing themselves at everything.
We get frustrated push further up leaving us wide open for counter attacks.
No excuse today as we scored first but still couldn't control the game.Back to basics time. Learn to defend before the whole season unravels !

I don't see the point in burying one's head in the sand. Dont apologise. We are on a dreadful run and in the mind of some Hibs fans if any other Hibby complains then they are automatically a Hearts fan.... It's pathetic

It was a strange one. We had far more clear chances but blew it: terrible defending for the two goals, hit the post, Cummings missed a chance he couldn't miss again if he tried. One of those days that happen when a team is struggling. Should have won the game, but it was a disjointed performance.

David gray has been an excellent signing, but I get the feeling we have seen the best of him now fitness and form wise...just a feeling and said as much to my Faither coming home in the car from the game. I'd be tempted to give Gunnarson a shot at RB or part of a 3 now.
Hanlons injury has coincided with some soft goals being lost, he was having an immense season until he was ruled out.

Apart from the fact Hanlon was playing in the Dumbarton game so not exactly blameless.

Gray and Fontaine looked excellent in their first season. They looked like they'd played at bigger clubs at a higher level and that they belonged there.
I don't think either of them have been poor exactly but they have settled back a bit and look like fairly ordinary players now.
Which neither of them should, considering the level we're currently playing at.

At times it can be good to have a settled team as you get consistency.
But you also need competition for places. We didn't have this last season and suffered.
This season we seemed to have that but with injuries and loaning out players like Forster - our defence has looked in a comfort zone. The replacement we brought in does fine in the the games he plays but doesn't get picked.
Boyle and Farid have both scored in recent games and not been in the starting 11.
Dagnall was also doing well (ok he hasn't scored) then got dropped.
If I was Stubbs I would really seriously think about meeting with the players and consolidating things. Freshen the team up and get players playing for the shirt again - we seemed to have lost that togetherness and unity since January - players going and new players coming in.
