it would be sold out, without a doubt.

Possibly so Sean but there will be more at our game tomorrow than the Tynecastle capacity.

There might be a replay so we would find out then if they fill it. Remember Scottish Cup ties at home don't always get great attendances as season tickets aren't valid. FA Cup ties really reflect this.

Stadium is going to be bouncing tomorrow :agree:

One of the top blocks in the FF still has space and ends of the west still space but overall should be a pretty healthy crowd and hopefully more than the 17,420 Tynie holds.

Hopefully the later kick off will bring the noise as people are going to be in the bars from early doors.

IIRC you will have to be on the database and have purchased a ticket for a "B" category match previously.

not bought a ticket under my own name for at least a season. How long are details stored for do you know?

Not sure, but go along on the day, and if your wearing a Hibs scarf, I'm sure someone will help you out

I don't know for certain but I would think it will be a lot longer than one season.

No idea but would imagine it's longer than a year or two. If a problem then maybe get a mate to buy the ticket for you. He will be responsible for you so leave your Yam top, blonde wig and big cigar at home. :greengrin

Ach ... who gives a flying one what the PBS unwashed say about the crowd tomorrow.

Heres the facts:

Last season they won the cup in probably the greatest game in their history and they qualified for Europe.

Last season we just scraped past getting relegated and lost the cup final in the worst result in our history.

This season our average crowds have gone up.

This season their average crowds are down.

It just goes to prove one thing ................. Just because you have the most fans it doesnt mean that you have the best or most loyal fans.

capacity of the PBS is 17,420 so there is a decent chance there will be that tomorrow

They done some work a few years back and took seats out. Tiny will never hold a crowd of over 17,000 again.

Did they pay for the work though?

yeah i wouldn't have thought there would be any problems, used to have a season ticket for years but just tried to buy a couple online and it said something about having to be on the database. Maybe its a separate dataabase?

Did they pay for the work though?

Beslija the Bullet did most of the work and Nade ate the seats that were removed.

Someone said previously it was 3 years, Someone else then piped up it was 5 (think they'd got a ticket in year 4)... Either way there will be a definite end date due to the data protection act.

I'm not going tomorrow :brickwall and got an email from the club this morning to remind me I don't have the cup top up and that I can still buy tickets right up until kick off. Not sure if it was just sent to ST holders or not but there are tickets left.

Gutted I can't make tomorrow :boo hoo::boo hoo::boo hoo::boo hoo:.

Not entirely the case as our database at work extends to purchasing history as far back as 1999, although we only really recognise booking history in the last 7 seasons.

My advice would be to try and log in online using your old season ticket client code. Failing that, take your old season card and ID to the ticket office tomorrow.

Sorry no tickets from me but have a similar plan. My flatmate and myself are bringing our two other English flatmates (1st game for one, second for the other) and got them seats in section 45 :greengrin If it somehow doesn't get them loving Hibs it will at least get them hating the yams!

I made a late decision today to try to get tickets but the website wont let me buy tickets for a Category A game without having previously bought tickets for a CAT B game. Having only previously paid cash for tickets, I assume this means that I'll be able to go to get tickets tomorrow if I pay by switch so they have my details?

Does the 0844 number have the same allocation of tickets as phoning / going to the ticket office direct. As i just phoned for a couple of tickets in the east but was told there was no availability in the east at all. Now had to get tickets in block 2 in the west. Not great seats but will make the most of it :greengrin:flag:

Im not sure mate i went to the ticket office but i have heard they keep some back for people going to the shop

Don't quote me, but I think you have to be on the club database to buy tickets by any means for a Cat A game .
I'd probably go down though and ask, if you get knocked back I'm sure there might be someone floating about that would get you some.

Thanks for the reply. Understand why the club database thing exists and all, but it's pissed me off no end. Just makes it harder to go to certain games.

I says on the website that your details will be on the database if you've bought tickets online or on the phone during the last two years.
I'm trying to find where I saw that stated, but it was defo there somewhere......

The same happened to me too - but I went down to the shop today and got a ticket no bother. Funnily enough I can now buy online since my purchase.

Good way to get the crowds in...can only get a ticket if you've bought online or on the phone during 2 utterly horrendous seasons over the past 2 years. Well done Hibs :not worth

I'm sure they'd make an exception if someone had an extensive booking history prior to that period.

I can't see why it needs to be an exception and why they just can't use all the names they've surely got on file from over the years. Pretty unlikely someone has changed teams, now supports Hearts, and is now buying a ticket for the home end to cause bother...

Very true and as I posted earlier in the thread, at my work (an EPL Ticket Office) we use purchasing history for the last 8 years.

Given that the attendance vs hearts last time was 12,887, if we can get 16,000 that would be over 3,000 extra Hibs fans back. We need to win today to show them that we aren't going to roll over and hopefully get them back again this season. A win today and a positive result in Inverness could lead to a big crowd vs m'well. Need to keep the feelgood factor going.
