Been having this issue on and off for months. Absolute pain. There’s clearly an issue with eticketing. Tried all the options and ususally also have to borrow other devices. Completely unacceptable but we will be small fry for Ticketmaster.
Same for me. Also AVG won’t let me open the Hibs official site from an email about hospitality. In fact, if you open the email address from Hibs official communications the address is full of letter spaghetti. Even though it’s clearly from Hibs the reply route does look decidedly dodgy

A fan zone will be open for this game, sounds quite good!

This is really good news. If it works out well surely it has to be a good route towards regular match day experiences.

A regular Albion Bar type idea for the east has been on the cards for a while. I'd expect it after this season.

I always felt we got the dates of the testimonial and this game the wrong way round (from a purely marketing point of view, I accept there are other logistics).

Had the 150th game been a Saturday I think a lot of people would have made a real day of it, met up early and planned to stay out late and had a proper celebration. A midweek smack bang in the most popular time for summer holidays in Edinburgh makes that a lot less likely. I'm going but it will be a quick trip home, changed and back out rather than making it any kind occasion. Had it been the Saturday I would have been out for the day.

With all due respect to Darren McGregor a testimonial against a team like Bolton was never likely to attract any kind of numbers. We have seen it for both Lewis Stevenson and David Gray in recent years, they just don't attract crowds. With a more attractive date and time I feel like the Essen game could have been a bigger event than it looks like it is going to be.

    Think you’re right1

Sounds fantastic, any ideas how they will implement it ?

How did the centenary celebrations compare to our 150th?

I was only 5 in 1975 so have no recollection of the centenary year.

As we prepare to mark the occasion of the 150th anniversary with a friendly match against European opposition, gala dinners, commemorative strips, badge redesigns and gallery exhibition’s, how does it compare to what we did in 1975 for the centenary?

Other than a book (100 Years of Hibs), I can’t say I know of much else that happened 50 years ago to mark the centenary? I’m sure there would have been events and it would be interesting to learn more if anyone has some long memories!

A game at home to then English champions Derby County. Think we lost 2-0.

There was a centenary gala dinner in the then North British Hotel.

My Grandad attended as one of a host of former players. I have the programme/menu at home signed by all members of the Famous Five among others.

Indeed, that would be a good addition. On this occasion it’s the pop-up bar I’m impressed by and whether that could eventually become a feature at grounds around the country. Small steps but if it is a success it may help persuade the people that make the rules that football fans are capable of behaving as well as any other part of society. Fingers crossed

Just had a look at the ticket sales and they look really poor.

A few of the cool girls in my class were waitresses at that and brought the Guest List / menu back for me. It got passed around the class for signing too but generally defaced with false signatures etc. I’m sure Peter Gabriel wasn’t there.! Only found it again last year.

There will still be a crowd of 10000, plenty time for tickets to be purchased

I had the same problem using an iPhone.

I switched off the WiFi and went outside and used 5G. It worked instantly.
    That worked for me too.

Yeah weekend would have made so much more sense - even for the travelling away fans.

Would have also made it free for ST holders to attend (as cheap as it is).
It's my son's graduation on the 9th, so we'd had plans in place with the wider family for ages. There's three of us that would have been at the game who will miss it on Wednesday.
I think there are a lot of graduation events happening across the various universities over this week and next as well.

Going be more away fans the way ticket sales are going!

Personally on holiday however would assume sales will pick up a bit. Bottom line is it is a friendly slap bang in middle of holiday period

3 tickets bought for Wednesday's match.

Making an afternoon and evening of it with a pre-meet, drive down from Perth, fan zone with RWE fans, seats in Pat Stanton Stand and match to look forward to.

Missed my football fix with the Hibees so what a great way to build up to the Bolton and home European tie.

We wouldn't get 10k for league cup games early in the season never mind a midweek friendly.

The price for this game is so cheap, there is no reason why anyone who can afford it can’t come along to the game. I still think there will be 10000 at the game in particular as the Germans are bringing over 2k

Yeah I think there will be 10k at the game. Sales are picking up and will pick up even further in the next few days.

I'm going to Behind the Goals, couldn't resist at a fiver.

With 2500 Germans coming it should be a decent atmosphere.

I thought it was 1-1 but my memory isn't as sharp as it used to be. Although I do remember Bruce Rioch scoring for Derby. Or have I got that wrong too.🤔

I think some who might have given it a swerve will now go to honour Pat Stanton as his stand is officially recognised.
Just to survey this swathe of sea and green, of turf, earth, stone and steel, is to be touched by the swirling spirits of those 'wild Irishmen' whose club with its 'outlandish name' has made this corner of Caledonia forever Hibernian

Was there on Saturday and they've got nice big signs up saying no football parking allowed. They might have been there the whole time and I've never noticed however I don't think they can actually enforce these things? Personally I'll probably park there.

Anybody else having problems downloading their tickets to their Apple wallet? I get a message saying to check that I'm using the latest email. I am.

Yeah the signs were there last season too. Can't see how it can be enforced. You might be going to do your shopping in your Hibs gear!

My wife couldn’t get hers to load, she cleared her cache on her iPad, and it loaded first time.
