Get a feeling Aussies might beat Lions over series. Think very difficult to bring together a huge squad of players many of which will never have played together especially when they have a shorter tour. Also not sure Farrell as smart at that than guys like Ian McGeechan. A lot of huge egos to mould also not altogether convinced Itoje best choice as captain

DVdM should never have started such a meaningless game when still coming back from the same injury he went off with again last night!
Lineouts last night were pathetic. Hope we have better available than Cowan-Dickie…It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
But even harder to accept the scars you left were planned

i've not been to Murrayfield for many years but most of the complaints the last several have indeed been re the womens Loos, they're bound to realise a lot more women attend Rugby nowayears so it's good they're finally going to get catered for, i've read a few folk say the pitch is just getting moved

Scotland beat the Maori All Blacks for the first time 26-29
some of our play was dreadful, just 60 seconds remaining and we get a huge break with a Maori knock-on up in their own half so of course scotland chose the "safe" option and try hold out but yet another bit of amateur play and whoever it was leaves himself isolated which led to yet another turnover, then the remainder and the added 6 mins of constant Maori attack, i think they went through a stage of 28 phases at one point before the expected Advantage but Scottish defence held out brilliantly must be said :), even when it was 12-29 i was convinced the Maori's would go on to win it as Scotland were getting absolutely nowhere and it didn't help taking off George Horne and Adam Hastings, 60+ mins on the clock and Scotland had four scrums just metres from the Maori sticks and even with the extra man in the scrum they just couldn't make anything of it.
on to two tests now v Fiji and Samoa with eight players on Lions duty
after watching them today i'd be happy winning against at least one of themLast edited by cabbageandribs1875; Today at 06:23 AM.
