Would help with the European squad with him being association trained as well.

Played a good number of games for his age. Just the last 3 seasons he's played 65 games with Dundee in the top flight and 42 when Dundee were in the championship.

Hope it's an early medical so nobody can scupper the deal.

If Jamestown thought Mulligan would be a good fit for us, we’d have made a move for him

Very surprised but delighted. I thought he was rangers bound but Aaron's obviously changed that. He definitely could have handled the English championship so I think we must be paying him a decent chunk

They are assuming they didn't 🤣

He wouldn't be the first player in recent times to have interest from Hearts to have chosen Hibs over them.

Jamestown tumble dryer is still whirring round trying to process some guy called Shankland, sizeable job making him fit.

No kilmarnock connection so Spock, Bones and Mr Sulu are working flat out on reprogramming.

Your final point wouldn’t rule out Rangers getting miffed and trying to counter. Would like this signed and sealed pronto.

Had a quick look on the Dundee forum and almost all seem gutted he's away. I think the loss of Mulligan, Sylla, Cameron and McCowan has been hard to take.

One poster however thinks they will be ok with losing Mulligan as they already have his replacement in the building... Drey Wright

Mulligan would a better a real coup for us and an exciting signing, even better to get him from under the Huns noses.

A couple more and we're looking good for the upcoming season.

I don’t think it’ll impact anything to do with Triantis (or us signing another midfielder if we can’t get Triantis). Unless Gray has seen something in him that makes him think he can play permanently in there, like he saw in Triantis. I’d be surprised though. Right hand side was somewhere that needed strengthened, I think he’ll be signed to play there with the option to cover centrally if needed.
Hope you're right. If we are still in for Triantis then you'd imagine we'd hear shortly given it was reported as advanced talks a few days ago. If we could make it happen, re-sign Rocky (looking less likely now you'd imagine) and bring in 2 forwards we really would be in great shape. Would leave the door open for Hoillet aswell but probably unlikely given the time that's passed.
Hopefully Rudi and one or 2 others can step up from the academy.

X is always good for a laugh.

A Hibs fan (guessing about 13 years old) putting together a potential team for next season and leaves out Boyle because “he isn’t a goalscorer” 🤣

Hopeful that Jacob McIntyre can make the step up.

I’d let NMW go to make space.

Would love to snatch Shankland away from them. The seeth would be outstanding and he’d be a good option to come off the bench for us

As much of an excellent signing as Mulligan would be, wonder if at somewhere like £400-£700K it is a pivot away from Triantis. Mulligan can play as an 8. Hopefully not and we can bring in both
No chance he's coming in instead of Triantis. I think he fits the RWB role perfectly and will imagine that's where when will play.

Would certainly give the bench a bit of much needed respite, couldn't see it surviving the whole 90 minutes.

I think there's only 2 places for him, the huns where he wants to go but they maybe don't want him. Or Hearts where he will be hailed as the Messiah, Jamestown at it's finest etc etc.....

Would Milligan possibly mean Miller is away?

It’s all part of the plan..haha!

Huns wanted Mulligan..Hibs aware of this..Bournemouth then offer Aarons - this changes their mind and Mulligan to Huns deal cools off.

This then opens the door for Mulligan to Hibs for a few seasons. End of the season Huns will then need to find another right sided player. Hibs can improve and develop Mulligan then sell for a decent fee in a few seasons.

Mulligan would be an excellent signing for anyone outside the Old Firm. Sincerely hope it happens.

Did we not just activate another year on his contract?

We did but that also increases value should we accept an offer

Looks like he's signed and to be announced today or tomorrow - and yes, for a player that said he wouldn't stay, wanted away to anyone that would have him and give him more cash then downed tools.. they'll be delirious. 3 year deal apparently

    Any/only port in a storm.

If the super duper computer has indeed trawled the football world and came up with Shankland as the answer to their multi million pound bottom six achievement last season then the Heartsound boys will be all over this as the signing that's going to deliver on all the latest bluster and distraction.

The squad is coming together. If we get this window right we have a real chance to kick on this season. Triantis is the big one for me. If we can get him it would be massive, he’d be very difficult to replace. Youan could also solve a few issues for us if he stays, which I think there is a decent chance of happening. If he is here, he’ll need to perform being the last year of his deal.

Other than the ones out of contract that haven't resigned I have a feeling there will be a couple in that squad that will still move on.
