I could look it up - but where's the fun in that? - but did Nisbet no score in the 20/21 Killie match?
If he did it must have been chalked off I think GL . Boyle definitely got two goals that game . Really strange times with the cardboard cutouts and no fans at ER . I think there were loads of cardboard cutouts of kangaroos at one point too wasn’t there?

Aberdeen or Sevco at home, please. A total marker victory, hopefully. Genuinely can't remember us landing one since 1986 (although hopefully a better marker than that one was!)

Although, was the 5-0 scudding of United the first game of the season in 94/95? Scottish Cup holders at the time, if so,
but still think win against AFC or RFC would throw it down.
Yes the 5-0 was the first day of the season. Remember Hibs tannoy announcer congratulating United on their 1-0 win over Rangers in the Final and warm applause coming from the Hibs support 🤣

97/98 began with a brilliant 2-1 win over Celtic which I'd say was a marker. Henrik Larsson making his debut and inadvertently laying on Hibs late winner! Just a pity how that season turned out come May.😞

I think it will be a home game.

It will be against someone we played away first last season so my bet would be St.Mirren, Kilmarnock or Rangers

St Johnstone away 2022 was a 1-1 draw no?

In terms of this coming season I’d be wanting hearts. For us it would just be a case of picking up where we left off where as for them and their transition they could very well be there for the taking. Nothing would do the team and support more favours than another away derby win.

There's a notable lack of 'big' games there. Also like we've had run out the mill fixtures by design.

Must be due a top six side, excluding St Mirren.

Not sure about who we get but am I correct in saying it will be on Sunday 03/08 due to us playing in the Euro qualifiers?
If that’s the case I hope it’s an away game.

I should have looked it up!

I'd forgotten about the kangaroos. I think Forza Fred had one? Terrible time, all that. It would have been just brutal without the football.

Think we’re due the festive derby at ER. Wonder if it will be a Boxing Day or New Year (2nd Jan) game

I have a funny feeling it'll be St Mirren at home.

You could very well be right as we have had them three times as first game out of the last eight .

First five fixtures are all games we should be taking points from. Really good opportunity to have a very positive start to the season. We should be looking at 12 points out of 15 if we play to the standard we had reached in the second half of last season.
