They way he bangs on you'd think he partnered Richard Gough in defence

Gordon Ramsay got caught out with his fanciful Rangers claims.

Think folk are being way too harsh on Eric Paton here.

He was as much a Hibs player as Gordon Ramsay was a Rangers one
No comparison really Paton played for the first team Ramsay never did.

I recall seeing Gordon Ramsay several years ago playing in one of these TV charity games. You can always tell a footballer even long after they've stopped playing. Ramsay looked like he had never kicked a football in his entire life.

He played 4 times for the first team. If it was me, I'd be calling myself a Hibs legend lol.

I don’t think Ramsay was ever actually even a Rangers player. I think Rangers came out and said they had no record of him ever having signed for them and was only ever on trial for a short while.

Ramsay has no need to mention it anyway, he is far more successful and well known than he would have been as a player.

I remember quite recently one question was

‘ What town are Heart of Midlothian from ? ‘

    The answer was a negative

They should have asked “Which town are “The Famous” from”?

    Trick question

The clue is always in the question in The Chase but just shows how universally popular the yams are even within the UK

A small claim to fame but I went on the Chase once

I'd recommend it to anyone who is up for a bit of a laugh

It took about 3 hours to film one episode, and a lot of that was because Bradley Walsh is wild - the production team give him free reign as, for every time they have to cut stuff, they'll get a wee bit of diamond chat

We had a great long chat about football and the Hibs and how underrated Scottish football in general, he was saying how Denis Law is his all time hero. But then it all took a turn as he somehow drifted onto the topic of John Paul Gotti and what an absolute "c***" he was in Walsh's estimation - ahh well, we can't use all of that section then

    Made the final

Finalists were just me and a guy whose job is "being a Paul Hollywood look-a-likee". Niche.

Spoke about the Hibs / Denis Law / and Paul Sinha's shows in the Edinburgh Fringe

Narrow defeat in the final itself

Great day out though, would recommend
