As for the show, the lady messed up big time to maybe take 53k back. Silly mistake!

Suppose he'll tell the grandkids in future he was an ex Hibs player and won 7k on TV (himself).
Numpty.

According to Hibs FitbaStats a lad called Eric Paton played a handful of games at the end of the 90s. He was signed from Hutchy Vale.

On the programme he said he was 33. If he played for Hibs in the late 90's he must have been about 13 !!
Also the article said he played for QotS and then Dundee. No mention of Hibs or Clyde.
Must be a different guy.

Sure we had high hopes for him at one point but never really happened for him.

He was as much a Hibs player as Gordon Ramsay was a Rangers one

Marginally more, actually, as Gordon Ramsay never played a single match for the first team at Hunbrox.
' Allan Cairns, the photographer who took a picture of Ramsay playing for Rangers in September 1985, said the photo was not one of Rangers first team but a side picked to play a testimonial match. A Rangers spokesman said: "Ramsay was a trialist in that testimonial game. He trained with us for a few months after that but then got injured." '
