I always thought against us he caused us real problems.
Waste of a jersey for us though! He never tried a leg

Fraser Murray released by Killie. Worth a second go with Europe in mind (homegrown)?
    No to this.

Saw the full list of players Killie are releasing though. Some of their better ones in there and they are pish as it is. Could be even more of a struggle for them next season.

Yeah he was poor for us but ripped us apart a few times up there. Also changed the game when he came on in the last home game against them. Ohora really struggled against him.

Think he could do a lot better than Dundee, would be some signing for them if they pull that off.

Doe to the the homegrown European requirements we are going to need to look at players we wouldn't usually go for. Prime example of this is Newcastle signing Tim Krul to meet the homegrown rules. Can't remember the exact rule but players under a certain age think it's 21 don't take up a registration slot so we can't just call up youth players.

Not sure if this is best place but since I expect the 6 monthly rumour of him joining us, some interesting insight into Owen Bevan where he talks about his struggles. Only one year into a 4 year contract, so Bournemouth must see something in him. Hopefully gets back to full flight after his year out, not sure if it will be with us just yet.

    Charlie Adam has his say

Anyone know why he wasn't getting a game at Wycombe? Not doubting he's not a good player but seems strange he only played 5 times last season if he's the quality Hull fans are saying. Noah kenneh and Josh Vela were also very well hyped by there fans and we know how they turned out!

We’ve not got enough money to just sign someone in that basis IMO. It’ll still need to be players who can come in and help make the squad better. Murray wouldn’t do that for me.

Definitely played more than 5 games for Wycombe. Plus a number of games for Hull

He played 90 minutes most weeks for Wycombe.

He missed 3 games due to suspension following a red card and was cup tied for the FA cup.

He played 1,196 minutes out of a possible 1,440 minutes he was available for selection. Of the 244 minutes he missed, 85 minutes were on his debut when he came on as a sub and another 45 were the game he was sent off.

Just seen the list of players killie have released

I’m sure the data team at hearts will have ear-marked Danny Armstrong and vassel long before this news broke anyway 👍🏻

Would be quite funny how they put their analytical spin if they sign players released by his former club.

Strange I looked at something and it said he had only played 5 times for them. Thanks

Doesn't matter about money we need to meet the registration requirements and we currently don't. Think we are 1 or two home grown players short and another 2 trained in Scotland short.

Out of a squad of 25 players we need 8 trained in Scotland, and 4 of those trained at the club.

Realistically we're not going to be able to sign anyone that was trained at the club, except maybe Porto, so those numbers would have to be made up with youth players.

Could look something like this, trained at club:
    3rd choice goalie (Johnson, Owens?)
    Josh campbell
    Molotnikov
    Megwa/Whittaker

    Trained in Scotland:
    Cadden
    Cadden
    Bowie
    Boyle

The youth laddies don't really make up the quota as they're under 21 and don't need registered except Megwa who I think does count as he's old enough. Otherwise you just leave the slots empty in the registration.

It's a bit like this but you just set the dial to Kilmarnock?

All big clubs do this when they are searching for even more bottom Sixers.

Exactly, it's only a requirement to meet the homegrown quota if you want to register a full squad of 25 senior players. Obviously signing someone who qualifies (e.g. Porto) would give us more flexibility, but I don't think we'll be going out of our way to sign homegrown players unless it's someone we wanted regardless.

AHH apologies I thought you had to meet the Quota to be eligible to play.

Agreed everyone down there thinks players from England will walk it. Rarely the case especially the more hyped up ones.

    Kenneh wasn't hyped at all.

I lived in Leeds for a few years and messaged a Leeds seasons ticket holder, a guy who goes home and away every season, about Kenneh when we signed him - he said "I know he plays for our U23's (they got relegated this season) but I've never seen him kick a ball tbf."

He was heavily hyped by a couple of posters on here who were insistent he would be in the EPL very quickly.

It would certainly be useful to have someone like Porto added or even a Kevin Dabrowski type as your third choice keeper so we can use the 'non-eligble' slots better and get best use out of our squad depth.

At the moment I think we can only sign about 5 new players if we're assuming Hoilett and Rocky aren't staying, if they stay then count them as one of the five. But within that five we need at least 1 (maybe 2) keepers and to replace Myko/Gayle/Triantis. So you can see how easy it is to just keep hold of guys for the sake of it if they tick the club trained box.

The caveat to this is of course that we haven't got the group stage football unless we pull off something special in qualifying, so it probably doesn't hugely matter to our window planning like it would have done if Celtic won the cup.

I’m sure some Leeds fans on a forum said he would be a good replacement for Kalvin Phillips who signed for Man City around the same time
