Can’t tell me that’s not Triantis’ replacement
    We'll take both.

They're buying Scottish youngsters now because Brexit has made it difficult to sign them.

It's a good thing for the national team IMO.
This is it. It's the same as why some youngsters from the National youth set up went abroad, because they can be sold back to England for inflated fees like Hickey was.

For sure. Last season it was the Yan Dhanda bandwagon, next it's Bloom + McInnes = the league's in the bag.

Screen shot taken, will be interesting to see which direction it goes.

No Hibs mention but Alfarela saying he doesn’t want to remain with Legia as a back up. Will meet the new manager to discuss when preseason begins June 16th.

Sunderland in advance talks with Dortmund over the sale of Jobe Bellingham. That will increase Sunderland's transfer budget you would assume. I don't think Triantis will be a Sunderland player next season, unfortunately I don't think he will be a Hibs player either.

Scott Bain joined Falkirk, believed to be a 1 year deal.

Genuinely hasn’t looked good any time I’ve seen him (Jobe) play. Granted I've only seen him play a handful of times.

I don't think any business Sunderland do will impact Triantis' exit thankfully. He'll likely be in a separate camp of "sell if we get X offer" as I don't think he's on that level to be playing for them.

My only worry is that the promotion may have tipped his wages up and whoever he goes to might have to be a fairly high wage paying side to land him.

He's a nice wee player. Still quite raw/early days for him at 19 but he isn't the same as his brother who is a more attacking option, Jobe tends to play a little bit more deeper like a traditional centre mid and even in defensive areas. I think he'll do very well out in Germany and it's a good move now for him instead of getting lost in the bottom end of the Premier League imo.

Dortmund tend to know what they’re doing when scouting young players …

If Sunderland are smart, they’ll probably have an eye on finding themselves back in the Championship the season after next.

Triantis might be a budget option in a key position leaving them to spend handsome parachute payments on star quality elsewhere in their team.

Keeping him on and loaning him out again whilst possibly extending his contract (on a prem wage that drops on relegation) is what I’d do if I were them.

The manager won’t be planning that far ahead. If Sunderland get relegated he’s likely out the job. He’ll want as big a budget as possible for making a fist of the Premier League which will mean bringing in fees for players not in his plans.

Hibs, Aberdeen and the puddle drinkers should be circa 500/1 to win the league. How any bookie can price them at 20/1 is rediculous.

The manager might not be, but might their version of Mackay (if that’s the model they use anyway) be looking that far ahead?

Potentially, but the reality of it is that he's probably not on their radar as a player that will make an impact at them regardless of what their Prem status in 12 months time.

Probably shouldn’t be though I am surprised O’Hora is one of the players that’s clocked up the most minutes for us . Two of the four players I don’t think we will see again and will be hard but not impossible to replace…

He started the season and even captained us for a spell. Was actually only a very small window of games that he was displaced out the side for Miller at RCB. Never missed a game through injury and only an unused sub 6 times.

I think he's had a good solid season here and think he'll kick on next season.

He got better as the season went on but was one of our poorer players and a downgrade on Hanlon I reckon. Miller done better there and I was a bit surprised not to see Ekpiteta get a shot there.

Would like us to bring in another starting CB that puts WOH to backup.

He had a couple of iffy games I won't lie, but I also think the team was struggling as a whole and that probably made a lot of them look worse than they were.

I don't think Ekpiteta would suit any other role than middle of a three which is probably why he hasn't been used often. O'Hora can play both or in a 2 which leaves the door open to him being used more often. Miller has done well at RCB but I don't particularly see O'Hora as a drop off other than maybe in pace.

This is mental to me. I don’t understand why Tony Bloom is getting such a love in because they will now be using his “analytics”

Surely we all do? Surely what we did last year with BK is almost exactly if not exactly the same, with similar investment, yet the media seems to just have forgotten that?

The whole thing blows my mind

    According to Joel Sked

Former Celtic winger Daniel Arzani is a Hearts transfer target.

The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of June after two productive seasons with Melbourne Victory.

Hibs could go to Tenerife and somehow Hearts would end up in elevenerife.

Best not to take notice of them, they seem to have this undying thirst of having to one up us every time, the old "Ma da could batter your da" vibes.

We all use analytics in different ways, however they seem to think it was invented by Tony Bloom.

Interesting one. Was a bit of a 'wonderkid' about 7 years ago when he went to Man City and then spent time on loan (and badly injured) at Celtic for about 2 seasons. There's definitely a player in there to some degree but he's spent the better part of his 20s now trying to get going and only recently started showing anything.

Only my opinion though I think O’Hora is probably more comfortable in possession than Ekpiteta .. not knocking Ekpiteta btw who I think is a good player too.

I get the vibe their going too far down the same path they did when they had Levein/Cathro/Stendel in charge, recruitment to me not making sense, buying players from leagues that don't have a great success rate over here that won't understand what big derby games etc mean.

Going to be hilarious when it inevitably implodes on them.

Be even Funnier when Elvis gets Dundee above them - I actually think he might turn out to be a really clever appt. Knows the way things work here but has had the experience of couple of years @ Coventry the all the 4 years Brentford exposure to the way they work and must have a good academy network from that
