I don’t think many young players will make it down there but there’s always the chance one does and with the inflated transfer market I suppose if a club as a decent sell on they could potentially make a few quid .. or am I clutching at straws on that one .

They're buying Scottish youngsters now because Brexit has made it difficult to sign them.

It's a good thing for the national team IMO.

Only a good thing for National team if they get regular decent level game time. Fair chance some will get chewed up and spat out of the Academy machine

Best of luck to the guy.

Really surprised he’s managed to get a League One team though. Fair play to him.

I just don't think any club in Scotland can keep a hold of their young talented players. I actually think Motherwell done really well to get Lennon Miller in to the First Team. But then his father is in the game and would of been giving him good advice. I was wanting Hibs to go for Bowie when he was at Raith but when Fulham came in it was no hope for that. I hope that the Bowie model is not the model of the future. There Scottish have to go to English clubs and pay 6 figure fees for players that started off at Scottish Clubs. It is getting beyond a joke.

Certainly looks like that might be the case and if it is good luck to big Triantis and lets hope Simons proves to be just as good. If the king is dead then long live the king.

They did say they want 2 players competing for each position, the revolution is starting, and will hopefully be televised. Although like most people I suspect, wasn't sure they would be both at this level! (Making lots of assumptions on Simon's level despite never having seen or heard of him before :-))

The biggest challenge here is they probably don't want to wait too long to take a risk in such an important position in our system, but equally and understandably Triantis has to take time to consider all his options and they probably are nowhere near complete at this moment. The biggest challenge is guys like Triantis often don't move till later in window unless a really top level offer comes in, certainly if Sunderland are looking to loan him again they may want a decent say in where he goes, and want to see what comes to the table.

Its a really tough one for Hibs to be fair, probably alongside Boyle in most important position to fill. I assume we want to have this bedded in long before European games.

We only had one of that type of player. Currently we have none. We also signed Kwon and it never worked out.

Add in European games and the fact we want to improve and not stand still.

He’s the physical type of player Gray likes.

I don’t think this would stop us signing Triantis too if we had the chance.

For sure. Last season it was the Yan Dhanda bandwagon, next it's Bloom + McInnes = the league's in the bag.

Screen shot taken, will be interesting to see which direction it goes.

Worth noting Triantis played our second highest minutes this season, could tell by the end of the season we really could’ve done with him getting subbed off in a few games.

Plus I feel like we aren’t just going to see how far we can go in these qualifiers and maybe get a glamour tie. The aim for BKFC will be to get us into the group stages and have quality players in all positions. Another point, i have a feeling Levitt will be away.
