I can't see Triantis pulling out the Australian squad due to having"things on his mind", if that thing is coming back to the team he has spent the last two seasons with.
Think he must be considering new opportunities IMO.

My initial thought was it was considering switching allegiances to Greece. Agree though, don't see him coming back now. More hopeful on Rocky and Hoilett

I'm not sure what the hold up with Hoilett is tbh, I'm not confident at all regarding Rocky and Triantis and I'm unsure if Miller will be here for the start of the season even after the contract extension.

Clearly the bookies have bought into these jambo analytics.
Surprisingly it doesn't take that many bets for a price to tumble. Reckon a few weeks ago the Yam were around the same price as us and Aberdeen.

Guy I know in the betting industry advised it may take only around 20 decent sized bets for a price to reduce like this.

Wouldn't think there would be many more bets on a price like this. It's more than likely the price will increase in the next few weeks. Odds can vary wildly over different bookies. Our odds are as low as 40-1 with Betvictor which is nuts.

Agree, feel he's probably looking at bigger clubs than Hibs, shame turned into a good player in midfield.

That’s some coup wouldn’t have thought Leipzig would be letting him go

We're going to have a lot of midfielders on the books.

The Miller one is strange. Him making absolutely no comment around his one year contract extension in the announcement,
    or since was so odd.

It did make it look like it was a forced extension, rather than something he was happy with. Hopefully just bad comms, as I like Miller a lot.

Going to assume that’ll put the end to any chance of Triantis coming back then

Newell is still out, Triantis may be away , Levitt last year of deal- is he staying ? NMW- is he away -not required so much. If this guy is higher quality - great. 2 games per week from July- September at least

Sounds like Hull fans would quite like him to stay.

I think the Simons one if it happens is a replacement for Triantis who I suspect we aren’t getting back . Well stocked with midfielders though not in the DM position.

They'd also like better. Football fans want everything but have the responsibility of managing nothing. Fortunately, players have their own idea of opportunity and how best to progress their careers.

    Agree.

Disappointed to lose Triantis but if we are moving quickly to get a replacement, that is good. Also good that we realise the need to recruit to replace rather than just rely on what we have, particularly with Newell due back.

I think Hibs will be/are still pursuing Triantis regardless of Simons. Probably NMW moving on I’d assume.

I hoping you are right, I am opened minded about Triantis as long as we haven't heard anything there is still a chance.

Newell is 33 this season as well. It's not "old" but we will hopefully have a lot of games to navigate so we will need good squad depth.

Beginning to wonder if there is any point having development sides in Scotland. Lets face no one can keep a hold of their best young players

The clips I’ve seen of Simons on his Instagram makes him seem extremely similar to Triantis
