St Pauli want him then we have little chance you would think. Doesn't that boy we had on loan that used to play for Ross County play for them too? Aussie guy sure played in the Scottish Cup final, cannae mind his name.
Jackson Irvine, think he is their captain

I know he's played football at a great level. Is he a CF or more of an attacking midfielder?
Centre forward smaller and stocky type knows where the goal is

Campbell has been a huge let down.
I said when they signed him I’d watched him for Charlton vs NL level Southend and he was anonymous. Glad we stayed clear.

Interesting we haven't done an end for season squad update yet

I guess maybe Saturday plays a role in that

I know down south there is a time limit of when they have to announce their retained lists. Is it the same up here?

Yeah I reckon Saturday is so important to if Rocky stays (if there's still a chance) and Hoilett.

Beyond that I wouldn't imagine there's too much left to announce as most players are under contract and the loans will end as per normal and then we just have to spend the summer hoping Triantis joins again.

Players deals I think run until the end of the month (31st) so I think we just have to maybe get it out around that time.

No idea what that is but as long as it's not a zone for the worst players ever it can only help his value.

You need to search for 'voetbalzone' to find it: https://www.voetbalzone.nl/nieuws/vo...4924a29df956ad

It's a Dutch football website's team of the year.

I know he's a fat foreheid but I was slightly hoping he'd disappear off into the distance to play MLS or something stupid as I worry he'd do well again next season.

Likewise. He’s quite clearly had a poor season by the standards he’s set for himself previously but he’s still got 9 goals and 11 assists. If he goes Hearts will be a poorer side. Hopefully he’s away.

Sounds like the old tynecastle twin tub has been spinning round and round and mr James Town has pulled out the tombola ticket with Lawrence's name on it.

Technology at its finest, trawled the world and the machine said pay plenty money to last seasons unfit bottom 6 captain.

Always thought he would end up staying there as I think his options are limited in I don’t think he has any pace for the English Championship , his beloved Sevco probably don’t want him either.

Why? The last two are good players, the first performed very admirably before his move to Celtic.

Scottish football isn’t a dead backwater and some good players pass by, some good players struggle whereas some poorer players thrive it happens in all leagues but fortunate we have attracted these players to our league despite their perceived issues.

Same. Hopefully he is away. Quite funny though that he repeatedly turned them down, said he was leaving, had a crap season in which the fans turned on him, took the huff, put on more of a belly and now nobody else wants him and he has to go back and likely sign back on for less cash with tail firmly squashed between his chubby thighs. Reminds me of the Jerry Maguire scene with the 'who's coming with me' bit but instead it's a 'who wants me' with him expecting a stampede only for it just to be Renee Zellweger (second rate Turkish team) that come forward and it's all very awkward.

Wasn't suggesting Scottish football is a backwater, it just amused me is all.

From what I can see online, Shankland managed a total of 8 league goals this season. 1 against Ross County and 3 against Dundee before the split. Followed by 2 against Ross County and 2 against Motherwell after the split. Not a single league goal v top 6 opposition and 3/4 of them coming against the teams who finished 10th and 11th.

If that warrants a bumper new contract then more fool them. It’s much more likely last season was a purple patch, never to be replicated. He’s fat, slow and looks disinterested most of the time.

Bowie probably did twice the running in that 874 mins than Shankland managed all season.

    But they are desperate.

I await the ‘this player was rubber stamp approved by JTA’ for every single signing even though they were not. Ie Killie players.
