Betis in a real battle here. Must admit I doubt they will get to the final at the moment.

Fiorentina captain Ranieri is a nasty piece of work.

Would find it amusing if Ange wins a European trophy and is punted while Arteta wins nothing and keeps his job!
Ange could easily win the trophy and then walk away himself and say I did my job and got you as trophy - basically leave on his terms and keep his stock high.

If they lose he’s gone 100%.

If Man U lose reckon he has till October max to turn it around.

Both Spurs and Utd are miles away from being Champions League ready though. Could be a struggle next season for either team while also trying to do better in the league. Easier to attract players but restrictions with financial fair play etc.

Betis clearly the better team, 2-2 and 4-3 on aggregate. Will play Chelsea in the final.

  7. #22656
    Viva el Betis

....will be a stretch to beat Chelsea in the final though.

Once again, United have been absolutely ***** at home, this is a team of bottlers, cracking goal by the Athletic Club player though.

TBF the that comment was them 1 down at HT, they were really bad, the game only turned when they made the 3 subs, Mount and Mainoo made a huge difference, Garnacho was brutal, couldn't beat his man and struggles to hit the target. They are a team that you never know who is turning up Jekyll and Hyde.

I don't think United were anywhere near as bad as what folk made out, Bilbao had 1 shot on target compared to United's five.

They had a lot of the ball but didn't actually do anything with it, as Mourinho once said "They can take the ball home"

Yep, better team won. The transformation in Antony is staggering, he was a constant threat and now has end product

My thoughts too. Apart from that one world class strike (which came about from an error from Maguire) I thought Bilbao were poor. Never really looked like scoring.

Isco too, he’s clearly still got it, such a clever player will give Chelsea problems.

Will be interesting to watch Megwa tonight if he's playing right of a back 3.

Don't mind who wins this one, just need the winners of this to beat Livingston.

I'd like to see Ayr come up. It's a tall order but agree I'd take either of these two over Livy.

Would have loved Scott Browns Ayr Utd to relegate Hearts but seems almost out of reach now 😅

Me too, I love a trip to Somerset Park. Yes Livi is nearer, but that pitch and that support is *****.

Barely noticed Megwa in 20 minutes, camera angle not helping can barely see the far side!

It's like someone filming it from the stand on FB live.

Notice Megwa playing the RCH of a back 3, positionally a bit too wide at times but doing ok.

I guess he's not very accustomed to that but could be good experience.
