Looking forward to this. But it would be lovely to be without Mr McCoists company this evening.
It certainly would, so it would.

That last Donnarumma save was magnificent. All Arsenal first 8 mins.

If Arsenal don’t grab a couple of goals while they have the upper hand, they’ll shoot their bolt and hand the game to PSG.

Rice diving in and giving a cheap foul away which results in the goal against the run of play.

PSG are quality. Real top drawer side.

Brilliant individual players but a terrific team ethic, very well coached, full of pace and technically excellent. Any team that dealt with Liverpool over 2 legs how they did are very high level.

One of the best teams I've seen in Europe in recent years.

Not that you'll hear anyone from the commentary team saying that. You canny criticise England internationals

Donarumma kept them in it early on to be fair.

I know, but the top teams break far, far quicker than Arsenal have.

They are a good team but I would be surprised if they score the 3 they need tonight.

They lack/miss a clinical striker. Set up perfectly all over the pitch otherwise

No focal point, all very pretty with little penetration (as the wife would say)

    Yep.

Saka has slotted 2 great crosses in the last 5 mins.

    Nobody there.

Definitely. For all the criticism he took, giroud was perfect for arsenal system. He'd have a hat trick tonight - dunno who the modern equivalent would be? Likes of Isak and Watkins probably financially inaccessible

Don't think they could afford Isak but they probably could Watkins.

Giroud was one of the most underrated strikers of the last 20 years IMO. Had everything except pace.

Or enough goals to be a difference maker in a title race. Good player though.

Some forward line Sweden have with Isak and Gyokeres (Zlatan and Larsson in years previously).

For a footballing nation that is predominantly known for being effective in their style but not particularly exciting that's some run of world class forwards.

For all Arsenal lack a striker, and probably an elite left winger. I like Martinelli but think they need to be ruthless and get an upgrade.

Sometimes there’s not a lot wrong and you look at things like Donaruma’s outrageous save last week and tonight and that’s essentially the difference.
