No danger that's true. He was keen to stay at Aberdeen according to reports but Aberdeen were only offering 3 years, Hibs offered 4 years. We aren't paying him 20k per week

The wages rumour I’d normally dismiss without even a thought but we did lose £7 million last year which is £140k a week.

It’s not insane to suggest that some players are on stupid wages although I highly doubt anyone is on more than £10k a week, maybe Boyle.

I know there's alot of players on around 5k a week at Hibs and yes, Boyle I've also heard is nearer the 7.5 mark. I mean it's still mental money and needs highlighted when folk think Hibs don't pay well etc. 30k a month, I mean let that sink in for me and you.
