"We apologise for the bad language...."

Some disgruntled Jam Tart just shouted something into Preston's mike! Not a happy ship!

I never understand why they are told to do that.

The incessant apologies for language are starting to really bug me.

There’s a time and place for bad language - I wouldn’t be happy if staff at my work were swearing in front of clients.

But I think you have to accept that professional sportspeople and the people who watch them play are going to use bad language from time to time.

Even if you are the type to be offended - is an apology going to relieve the offence if you feel that strongly about it?

You couldnt hear what was being said anyway, thats the ridiculous thing. Its like they think because they can hear something we can hear it too. Its like they dont know how mics work. And as you say, who is going to be offended in this day and age anyway.

The run of clean sheets has also just ended then.

Did our captain have anything critical to say about the performance? Or is he our Chemical Ali, all is barry, spokesman?

    Hibsing third apparently.

Well given where we were x amount of months ago if you’d have said we’d be in top 6, currently sitting in third and challenging for Europe I’d have laughed at you.

They are still hurting and are only interested in us and using Hibsdit due to their own recent short falls.

For those looking in Ł50 million of investment and/or donations for what actually.

Emery really doesn't know how to beat Palace. Style wise they are the worst possible matchup for Villa and its showing.

Villa have brought a knife to gun fight.

Villa playing it like a standard EPL match, Palace thinks it's a cup tie.

Palace pumped Villa earlier in the season as well. They just have Villas number at this rate i think

  23. #21892
Some of the Villa guys are playing at walking pace and two or three of them have lost the ball every time they’ve had it.

Wrexham about to be promoted to the championship.

Steven Fletcher came on as a sub, he’s scored 7 in 35 for them. With no disrespect to him, it’s a sign of how average a league that is that 38 year old Steven Fletcher can manage that sort of return.

Two years ago I was at Tannadice when he was the best player on the park by some distance, they beat us 2-1 that day (Jamie McGrath got the winner in fact). So i dont think its that much of a stretch to say he could contribute at a reasonably high level even now. Fletcher was always a touch of class with amazing technique and changed his game as he got older.
