California set to sue Trump over 'illegal' tariffs
He is going to need to dismantle the structures of individual states he doesn't currently control, and start attacking judges not currently toeing the line if he is hoping to get a fourth reich properly established.

Good to see that we’re getting the first proper signs of people and institutions kicking back at him though.

Hope they've got their travel jabs up to date as a wee trip to see his wee Mussolini bitch in El Salvador can't be ruled out?

I suspect Trump will be posting hate about Powell tonight.

Technically Trump can’t fire Powell but I’m sure he’s going to try. And the bond market will not like that at all. It’s an interesting stand off.

Be interesting to see if our right to protest and move freely around our own streets will be restricted again.

Maybe a practical alternative would be to give him a quick whistle stop tour of Clacton with his pal Nasty Nige? Be a chance for Nige to see what Clacton looks like as well.

A co-worker of mine (who is a judge), traveled by train from Montana to North Dakota for work this week. The train made a stop in Havre, MT, where ICE agents—armed and dressed in full military-style tactical gear—boarded the train.

They walked the full length of the train and questioned every single passenger about their citizenship status. According to the conductor, who has worked nearly 40 years on that route, this was a first. In all his decades of service, federal agents have never boarded his train like this.

Be stunned if it wasn't. This most deadly infection since the Spanish flu happening literally where they study coronaviruses, sound. I don't think that's conspiracy, conspiracy is saying the absolutely wonderful vaccines weren't tremendous

I’m still closer to believing that it’s a species transfer of a virus rather than a lab leak. Also, even if it is a leak, that’s more likely to be something innocent or accidental than malevolent.

One thing I would say though is that the opinion of the White House counts for f all. They’re evidence phobic imbeciles from top to bottom who have a trade war they need to limit their own damage on, so anything they say must be at best taken with a pinch of salt, at worst kicked firmly back at with facts and most often completely ignored.

The White House document (!?!?) linked to is atrocious propaganda, poorer than the sub par stuff the Soviets chucked about for decades.

The white house opinion means f all to me as probably nonsense. Epidemiologists I followed think the odds of being natural rather than at the heart of coronaviros research unlikely. I think it was totally an accident also

I’m definitely open to the idea of a lab leak and the concept adds up. If it is eventually proven to be something like than then I’m happy to accept the explanation. Not sure such a thing will ever be proven though, rather the most powerful group shouting the loudest will seize the narrative, as the White House appear to be trying to do here.

At the time I remember reading about cross species transfers though, how often they happen and how many near misses they reckon might happen. It was frankly terrifying so has probably had an effect of making me somewhat biased.

I honestly don’t care how it happened because I’m certain in my own head it wasn’t deliberate.

And we've got Jaydee and the orange bloater playing the card now. It's almost as if they've made an absolute car crash of their attempt to box China into a corner.

Now that the orange guy has swapped his red tie for a yellow one and is simultaneously looking to abandon Ukraine, again, who knows what's next?

Security will be used as an excuse to erm control the protests. Can remember the police moving a van to block out a protest message from a Chinese visit a number of years ago
