See they've been warned to behave in Dundee 🤣, apparantly they are having a 'defend Britain' protest.

Can you just imagine the furore if it had happened to me them from us or any other side apart from the other ar*e cheek?!
Remember the same club released a crayon etched rant when Lennon celebrated our win there.

I'm quite ashamed that, as a complacent liberal, I just hadn't properly applied my mind to the SFA's murky role in the migration narrative. It's obvious when you think about it. Much as it pains me to say it, I have to hand it to these sevcovians for lifting the veil from my eyes.

So basically players in the eyes of Ferguson are free to spray water on random supporters?

He's lucky he's not faced some kind of police action to be honest.

Not because I agree it's necessarily enough to have action taken against him for it , but if you walked down Princes Street and sprayed a bottle of water in a random persons face, and there was video evidence clearly identifying the person then you'd likely face a breach of the peace charge at least. Especially if Police officers were standing 10 feet away as in the case here.

The players are entertainers at a sporting event. The pitch is their stage.
I've not watched this incident but I presume that the water spraying barely touched any particular person.
It's part of the entertainment for me and those touched by a drop of water got a walk on part.
Another example of football supporters taking sport and themselves far too seriously with their sense of humour bypass.

That might be relevant if the fan was on the players "stage", he wasn't, he was sitting in his seat as a paying customer, he didn't sign up to be part of the entertainment or to have water sprayed on him.

As I said if you done it to someone randomly walking past you in the street and the police were 10 feet away and seen it, I'd be fairly certain they'd take action.

The SFS gave him a warning, and told him if he was to do it again, make sure there is some fairy liquid in it too.

The police would also take action if you yelled abuse at someone in the street the way some fans do to players at games.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

That's true, although unenforceable due to numbers involved.

And as far as I'm aware there's been no indication that the fan who was sprayed was abusing Cerny, so the fact that fans shout at players shouldn't preclude the police from taking action where there's clear evidence it's happened.

I’m going to make the argument that the sea is a big, dangerous, salty b*****d that has claimed the lives of many a Brit, and if they had any brain cells between they’d be better of turning their attention to f*****g it.

Spraying water on a fan is probably a religious crime. That fan probably abstinate the use of water and soap.

Phil Mac is quoting David Low in saying that 4 Sevconians are trying to sell shares for 3.5p each. If they only just issued a wad of them at 20p per share why would anyone be willing to sell at the low price, especially when the club is (ahem) about to be taken over? This isn't my area of expertise but I'd love to hear of a sensible explanation...

Rangers tweeting about what it is like being a professional footballer during Ramadan has went as well you would expect.

They just can't help themselves. It's a wonder anyone does business with them, even if in this case they may have recourse to compensation it's still a lot of time spent getting there...

You don't have the cards Rangers

Wonder if the 49ers will still want to go ahead with their investment?

I haven't believed the 49ers thing since the story broke. Half a billion confetti shares (and some of those are currently up for sale I believe with no takers) and a dilapidated stadium. If those people have serious money to invest I suspect they'll be looking to England, plenty of teams there with good potential.

Harry didn't want to put a name to the quote as Tr**p is a swear word around the world at the moment.
