My late brother in law was a Hammers fanatic as is my nephew and I said they should be careful for what they were wishing for when they let Moyes go. Not looking too clever a decision now....

Watching the Fenerbahce v Galatasaray cup tie.

I've no preference for either team and was 2-0 to Galatasaray.

Turkish football currently in crisis due to dubious officials.

Fenerbahce have just scored and it was clearly offside...no doubt whatsoever, clear as day, but it has been given.

I'd usually err on the side of praising old fashioned challenge when it's a 60-40 clearance rather than a proper tackle, but he's all over the place there - can't possible say Tarkowski's in control of himself when he's gone that high and Macallister's led is buckling all over the place. Fairly stunned that's not a red.

Is it any wonder players and managers get upset and argue with the officials, when it is clear as the nose on your face that was a sending off.

And to make it more of a farse, VAR looked at it and agreed with the ref?

Think his contract is up for renewal. Wouldn't give him any more than one year.

Seems to spend most of his time now talking and pointing.
