The courts have been holding. So far. It's worrying though that when Hegseth was talking about the sacked military senior lawyers, he said it was so they wouldn't stand in the way of what they wanted to do. You'd like to think (!?!) that the Supreme Court would back the Constitution that they're specifically there to protect, but it doesn't seem extreme to be concerned that they're looking at either martial law or some kind of military coup, if they don't get their way.
