If you are flying from Edinburgh over the summer there is a new Korean Street Food place about to open in there.

Vittoria on the Bridge again last night, it was far busier than I expected for January. They had both levels open and as usual the food and service were excellent. 20% Hibs ST discount too 😀.
On another note, we were in Frankenstein’s before it, the first time I have seen Frank come out! Very entertaining 😀

We went to the Greek restaurant Ella on Leith Walk last night, excellent food and very reasonable prices.

Went to Omar Khayyam for the first time in years on Saturday night. I really enjoyed it. Some different things on the menu compared to your standard curry place. BYOB with no corkage charge was a bonus. Weirdly, we had tried to book about 6 different places on Saturday with a few weeks notice and really struggled to get anything that wasn't a 9pm booking, other than there. Was there something on?
Did Prahna's boozy brunch yesterday. Was excellent too, even though I was definitely in the minority being male there. Was worried to begin with as there was a big table full of women who were doing high pitched shrieking to begin with that was really bugging me but they soon quietened down.

As far as food goes, Frankenstein's was terrible for years.

We are at Xingbala Hotpot near Haymarket a couple of weeks back. I really liked it.
Going to Fava on Morrison Street next, looks nice, but I don’t know anyone who’s been.

Have booked Eorna in Stockbridge for March. It’s a chefs table set up limited to ten guests, a tasting menu cooked in front of you, really looking forward to it.

A bit late but went to the chippie by Spencer after the Aberdeen game the other week and thought it was great - best fish and chips I've had in Edinburgh.
Was also at Hawksmoor during the week and it was extremely good. Pricey, but it was a work event thankfully. Special mention to the tirimisu and matched port dessert.Mon the Hibs.

I see In Touch on Ferry Road has closed down for good. Had many family meals there, though not been for a while - mainly because their unofficial sister restaurant with an identical menu, St Johns Curry Club is more local to me now.
It has looked dead, to be fair, whenever I've driven past in the evening recently.

I've got 14 work colleagues coming up to Edinburgh on may 27th so I'm looking for a restaurant that can cater for this many and is also halal (if that's the right term) as 2 of the group are Muslim.
Somewhere central would be great (as planning on doing Mary king's close tour before the food)
Any help, much appreciated.
