Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet are among my favourite ever things. And then there's Wild At Heart
I have seen Mulholland Drive 3? times, and only on the third time did I understand it... I think. When I saw it for the first time, people were queuing up outside the Cameo afterwards to read the blurb that they used to have outside cinemas....just to get their heads around what they had just seen
Inland Empires, though........... waaaaaay out of my ken.

Strangely, I was just thinking of them in relation to Trump renaming the Gulf of Mexico, and all the song lyrics that might need rewordingUp On Cripple Creek came to mind, with the words "Straight down the Mississippi River to the Gulf of Mexico".
