“while the link-up with Brighton chairman Tony Bloom, that will see Hearts utilise his renowned data company, JambosDown Analytics, for incoming transfers remains in the early stages.”

So they have installed the software but not been given the password as they’ve not paid their bills - again :)

I wonder how they’ll utilise the analytics if folks baulk at the idea of Scottish football without sufficient recompense. Surely folks can’t be still selling it as a stepping to the Ugly sisters? Maybe the unearth a Larryea mk2?

Demo planned ahead of New Year fixture
A section of Hearts fans are to stage a protest against the club hierarchy ahead of the opening match of 2025.

A call has been issued for supporters to make their feelings known outside Tynecastle Park prior to the New Year home fixture against Motherwell this Thursday, January 2. The planned demonstration comes as Hearts sit second bottom of the William Hill Premiership and under serious threat of relegation after collecting just 17 points from 20 league matches.

Recent results have amplified fan anger with Hearts conceding twice in stoppage time to draw 2-2 at Ross County on Sunday following the 2-1 home defeat to Edinburgh derby rivals Hibson Boxing Day. Hearts also crashed out of the UEFA Conference League in embarrassing fashion after being held to a 2-2 draw at home to Moldovan minnows Petrocub less than a fortnight ago having lost 1-0 at Kilmarnock in their previous fixture despite playing against 10 men for 84 minutes.

Head coach Neil Critchley was appointed in mid-October to replace Steven Naismith but results and performances have not improved sufficiently to quell supporter unrest, while the link-up with Brighton chairman Tony Bloom, that will see Hearts utilise his renowned data company, Jamestown Analytics, for incoming transfers remains in the early stages.

The Hearts podcast ‘This Is My Story’ is urging people to meet at 2pm on the Foundation Plaza in front of the stadium on Thursday with much of the ire directed at chairman Ann Budge and chief executive Andrew McKinlay. A post on social media read: “Seven managers in 10 years. Another managerial disaster playing out. Another relegation dog fight. More money to be chucked into the void to save the season in January. £18m of our money handed over via the FoH. £25m in ‘gifts’ to balance the books. Millions in season ticket money. Millions in matchday money. Millions to Budge’s brother. Radio silence from the FoH other than to push messages from the board onto us. Fan owned, not fan run. Shut up and give us your money more like.

“Call for all Jambos to meet on the Plaza at 2pm vs Motherwell. Every 18 months we end up back in crisis, time and time again we get the next move wrong. It is time for a change. It is time for the FoH to step up and represent us, not the board. Enough is enough.”

I love how it’s finally dawned on some of them that the bestest ever fan ownership actually means the fans have heehaw say and Budge is still calling the shots.

Just like 3-3 against Aberdeen put the boosters on us, I think it really dented them when they looked to be overcoming a blip.

Hopefully the same plays out with Hearts and Ross County.

They're pinning their hopes on this data as if no other club going uses data to scout players.
You'll be lucky to find a top flight team of any decent size that hasn't invested in that side of things, the idea that Hearts are suddenly going to get gems that other similarly sized or bigger clubs aren't already aware of is laughable.
Same goes for us, by the way, our link up with Bournemouth will help but largely because they can afford the players they'll identify who can then be loaned to us.

The irony is the more they donate the more Budge sticks her fingers up at them and doesn’t even consult or communicate with any of them. They are appointing Gary Locke as FOH director, Locke being a paid employee of the club and under the total control of ‘Queen’ Ann.

Budge is refered to internally as a modern day Margaret Thatcher who runs the club with an iron fist, her decisions, her (and her family and friends) interests.

    A Jambo

Activity: Jambos are nocturnal, so they are most active at night. They do not hibernate, but they tend to be inactive during the coldest months in winter as evidenced during home games when many gather in communal dens around Tynie for warmth. For the remainder of the year, Jambos are generally solitary, living and foraging alone around their piggery.

Reproduction: Mating season is one of the only other times when Jambos tend to get together with their Sisters. Jambos have litters of 1-7 young in late April through early June hence the reason they have a waiting list of 10,000 for season tickets.

Digging: Jambos have strong forefeet and long nails on their 6 fingered hands which make them excellent diggers. They dig holes in lawns, gardens and golf courses in search of food like grubs and earthworms. When no other form of shelter is available, they may even burrow underneath buildings by entering foundation openings, or if they are lucky Budge may give them a windowless hotel room for the night.

Spraying: Jambos are known to release a powerful smell through their anal glands and arm pits when threatened. Jambos will usually only attack when cornered or defending their Sisters, and spraying is not the first method of defence. A Jambo will growl, spit, fluff its fur, shake its tail, and stamp the ground with its webbed feet If the intruder does not leave, the Jambo will then lift its arm pits and spray its famous Jambo odour.

Well you learn something new everyday 🤮

Yeah a stairway to nowhere with a wall at top of staircase.

For the record official capacity is 19852.

Budge and co have never ever confirmed this however they have pedalled the 20k constantly.

I think they spent £25 million adding about 1800 seats.
The attendance at the derby was 18752 IIRC.

Surely that’s the game they’d get a full house as we get the full stand.

That’ll be the max they will have against us due to the segregated areas. So yes a full house but not the full capacity of the ground as per the safety certificate which is 19852

It’s a relay bizarre set up and I can’t get my head around it. I have nothing but respect for them sticking their fingers in their pockets to save their club, and I like to think we would do the same in the same circumstances, however to continue paying a direct debit to the club who are now back to normal business is just weird.

It’s been over 10 years since their administration. Someone paying £15 a month, will have paid almost £2000 into what is effectively a commercial business for nothing in return.

I see the Var review says Hearts should have had a penalty yesterday. If they had scored it that would have put them 3-0 up.

Such a shame it wasn't given. Feel so sorry for them.

Honestly surprised it wasn't given, well it was, then VAR asked the ref to go look and he gave a free-kick. Unless its a different incident?

Either way it's hilarious but worrying how bad our refs are at using VAR
