The concentration camp episode is the best thing that's ever been on TV. Unbelievable.
Aye, it's got to be up there.

Celeb jungle was quite funny last night, Barry McGuigan was a hoot trying to do his tasks 🤣

Normally I cant be arsed with the “up their own arse” washed up or wannabe celebs but there seems to be a decent group this year, including Colleen Rooney, just need Rebekah Vardy parachuted in to add some spice to the night time meals 🤣

He will be up for the next trial I reckon. He's absolutely useless . I think he was a late addition. Apparently it was meant to be McCoist but he pulled out a few weeks ago and they got BM to replace him.

Aye, seems a decent bunch. The guy from McFly looks like he'll give anything a go. The Radio 1 DJ that isn't Melvin (I can't remember his name) I think will be the best bet to bring up the difficult conversations with Rooney (the Vardy stuff, Wayne with grannies, etc.). The look on her face when he called her Wagatha Christie and assumed she couldn't drive because she was loaded - he also keeps calling the guy that plays Tyrone, 'Tyrone' rather than his real name which I reckon will start to annoy him.

I actually think McCoist would have been good, particularly when out of his comfort zone and I think because he is that daft he would go head first into the trials 🤣

Ive never heard of the DJ lad McUlloch ? but in what Ive seen so far he seems a bit naive. The blond DJ whom Ive never heard of either is actually quite funny too but a bit too “screamy” for me. Tyrone seems to be a bit cool and I think he will see trials out but my Wifes fave for the show McFly guy is funny but his laugh does my ****ing head in 😩

More of the same tonight please 😃

I’ve discovered a new favourite thing to do on a hangover Sunday. Gold show back to back episodes during the day of classic Only Fools and Horses. Some old episodes I forgot about but still have me crying with laughter to this day! Or should that be cwying 😂

    Just brilliant!

Just started Cross on Amazon Prime. Looks promising.

Finished season 2 of the Diplomat on Netflix, what an ending!!!
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Started watching Season 2 of Ancient Apocalypse on Netflix. Watched the first season on holiday last year. It is the pseudo-archaeologist and pseudo-historian Graham Hancock who presents it basically about his theories that the accepted version of human history around the ice age is wrong and civilisations existed earlier than was thought. I enjoyed the first season from an entertainment perspective even though I thought a lot of what he was saying was fantasy. The second season focuses on the Americas and he's got Keanu Reeves on it with him this time. Didn't realise Reeves was into these alternate theories.

I’ve watched both of these as well, I enjoyed both seasons, I like the train of thought to be honest, I like a good conspiracy theory without really being suckered in to full believer, his findings are normally very quickly rubbished by experts in the field but it gives you something to think and wonder about for a while, like the Mayan astronomy and level of mathematics absolutely fascinating

It's a work of art, I used to watch it every time that it was on for years, I seem to have managed to wean myself of of it now though.

It really is. I just wish they ended it when they found the watch.

Anybody else watching The Listeners on iPlayer? I've watched 3 of the 4 episodes and still not sure what to make of it, it's just odd.

Just finished Penguin as well…absolutely top top TV. Impressive stuff.

Gave Cross a wee shot but far far too American for me and has the usual play book of the main character having had a tragic event in their life, their remaining family being threatened and the top police bod being a total idiot. You can then add in a dash of some in your face BLM / white racist stuff and ‘defund the police’ narratives for good measure.

Sure some will like it and Cross himself seemed a half decent character but really not up my street so binned after Ep 1 for me.

I’m just catching up with Slow Horses. I like to binge so I wait until it’s all available at once. Gary Oldman is perfection as always, but I don’t think Kristin Scott-Thomas doesn’t always get the recognition she deserves, she’s just amazing. Love the humour in every episode, one minute you’re on the edge of your seat and the next you’re laughing out loud. One of my favourite programs ever, and I’ve said it before possibly about another series but it’s a shame it’s on Apple TV because it reduces the amount of people who can watch it. I’m the only person out of all my friends and family that subscribes to it. I’m always raving about shows that no one else has seen. It’s so frustrating.

I said earlier in this thread that all the Slow Horses actos are great, but the triumvirate of Oldman, Scott-Thomas and Saskia Reeves are just perfect.

Yup, head and shoulders above the rest, who all manage to put in tremendous performances though to give them their due.

Well after all this time I finally watched all of Sopranos. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

There's a few shows I'd rate above it personally but thats my choice. Loved the ending though.

I binge watched it for the first time a year or 2 ago and I thought it was outstanding! Didn’t even feel too dated. It’s between that and Breaking Bad for the best ever imo.

I had no idea what was coming with the ending and I thought it was my tv! I was going ape **** throwing the remote about the living room before I realised what was going on 😂

Don’t think I’ve ever paid for Apple TV there’s usually codes kicking about for it.

I think Sopranos is the best ever, it just spends so much time on simple things, you probably wouldn't get that now with Netflix wanting cliff hangers and constant action. Episodes like the pine barrens and college are as good as most Scorcese movies if you take them as an on your own piece.

Agree fantastic programme agree the family scenes were very much used to contrast with what he was up to in his day job

Sopranos was incredible. I spent months watching it and it took a while to recover.
I did feel a bit sullied to be honest rooting for a bunch of crooks and killers but hey thats showbiz!

Just finished the season finale of FROM. That was more like it. It actually gave some answers, but in a way leaving you actively wanting to know more.
