Think the current rules are as the defender attempted to play the ball the attacker is onside? Regardless of originally being in offside position when ball originally played forward.
Really, I never knew that. In that case, she was a country mile onside 😃

Well deserved from what I saw. Well taken goal - came off the Jambo so no offside iirc nice!

Should have won more comfortably but the main thing is the win. Hopefully overtake them in the league before the end of the season

Looked well offside but the goal stands.
It certainly looked to be, but as a former referee, I don’t really understand the current rules. Mind you, players would say I never did! I had real interest in the goal in that my son was one of Rosie’s first coaches in Musselburgh.

Did Grant Scott used to manage us before?

You can see what they're trying to do but they lack the skills and physicality to do it.

So there are several misplaced passes, balls given away etc. The game will probably be won on some horrendous defensive error or suchlike.
So just like the men’s team then minus the part about being able to see what they are trying to do.

Thought the right back was playing her onside

Very well done Hibs girls, that was a great win. Some excellent individual performances.
Always great to beat the Gorgie mob at any level at all.

Yip, the girls dominated that game from start to finish. Can't remember hearts creating a chance.

You wouldn't know it from the BBC commentators though. They didn't give Hibs any credit at all.

Think it's about time a lot more people start getting behind the womens team, they're everything the mens team aren't at the moment. You'll never go watch them and question their character, effort etc. The pride of the club at the moment and its not even close.

Said it several times this season, watching the women is a lot better for your mental wellbeing than suffering through the men's games.

We're not long back. Enjoyed it, although derbies are always tense no matter what the level. Deserved win and good to see Hibs hold their nerve.

Sadly, that is all too true. The women play with a pride and passion that is very much lacking in the majority of the current mens team.
