I didn't recognise the street layout but the photo is probably from the 50s. My mate wasn't sure if Clarks was in the same building as the Tap but he said it all looked very different back in the early 60s when he remembers it from.

Bridge Hibs will know better as he posted the photo (don't think he took it though ��)

That building in the photo was demolished to make way for the office block which housed the Coal board offices and at the foot of that was the Tap O Lauriston, then that was demolished to make way for the now current hotel, and no I didnt take that photo ��
