Im sure it was. I just find these commemorations are growing year on year and I'm becoming numb to them. There are plenty remembrance ceremonies and I don't see the need for every football club to do it.

I might be wrong, but I’m sure it just used to be a minutes silence, wherever you were playing, the weekend the closest to the 11th. Now, every team is feeling the need to do it in their last home game before it. There were teams down south doing it last week when it was still in October!

Yes there was at Bolton. They don’t have another game at the Toughsheet until later on in Nov

I think those teams don’t have a home game until after the 11th.

Most clubs these days are community clubs and it’s mass gatherings at football, there’s no reason at all why it shouldn’t be the way it is now.
