There's loads of this on social media, they call it cloud farming. Just when you think people couldn't get any more stupid, someone comes along with record breaking idiocy.

Agreed, I cancelled my account... a month or so later clicked on one the links posted on here and found out my account was still fully active. Tried it again.... months later, still the same.. I've put in 4 or 5 'support' requests and eventually a formal freedom of information request and been totally blanked... they basically seem to be a rogue company that can do their own thing because they're so big :-(

from what I can see, Trump's campaign seems to have rallied through very clever podcast appearances (where policy was obviously barely discussed in any substance, because he's not capable), and various other machinations...the whole campaign has pretty much collapsed into open psychological warfare. Trump winning is becoming an increasingly frightening prospect again.

There you go again, Ozy. I don’t know how often you’ve said this. Is it purely wishful thinking or is there something you know, that we, mere mortals don’t.

will be absolutely delighted if you're right - i thought they'd unlocked the cheat code by goading him during the debates, but it seems he's rallying and probably being protected from further gaffes...everything else going on in the world seems to be working in his favour though, with the west looking increasingly toothless in the middle east - all Trumps seems to need to do to capitalise on these things is shout about how it wouldn't happen on his watch, and a huge amount of people seem convinced...genuinely hope i'm just being pessimistic due to too much Radiohead growing up.

The one I can’t fathom is American Muslims rightly angry at the Democrats for their backing of Isreal are in turn not voting Democrat.

This will lead to Trump taking over. Friend of Netenhanu (sp) and Zionism.

Can they not see that Harris is the lesser of two evils. With the bigger evil being Trumps unashamed backing of Isreal?

i agree that it doesn't make sense from our perspective, but i think the trust in the Democrats to do anything is so low that they'd almost rather have someone who is at least honest about things like the middle east, and also just a general FU to the whole system...i don't think America is particularly over that phase (nor are we)...if people wouldn't vote against their interests the world would be a much better place!

The fact that Trump will let Musk loose within the US Govt if he wins, should be enough to scare everyone.

I really hope the US comes to it's senses. I dread to think of the wider implications if it does not.

It's almost as if Putin has him in his back pocket.

Or his hand up where the sun definitely doesn't shine operating the Trump glove puppet.

Space Karen buying votes for Trump Elon Musk pledges to give away $1m per day to Pennsylvania voters - BBC News

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has said he will give away $1m (£766,000) a day to a registered voter in the key swing state of Pennsylvania until the US presidential election in November.

The winner will be chosen at random from those who sign a pro-constitution petition by Musk’s campaign group AmericaPAC which he set up to support Republican nominee Donald Trump's bid to return to the White House.
The first lottery-style cheque was given away to a surprised-looking attendee at a town hall event on Saturday night.
The giveaway will effectively help to encourage potential Trump voters to engage in the campaign during the tense final weeks of the presidential race ahead of the vote on 5 November.

no, I think I meant that that's some peoples' rationale - that at least he doesn't pretend to give a toss about Palestine, and obviously only supports Israel in so far as it benefits him politically and financially.

a good example of this kind of admittedly daft thinking would be when Innocent smoothies were partially bought be Coke. I found them so irritating and cutesy and cloying that I didn't buy them, but when they 'sold out to the man', I felt a kind of relief, like "aaah, i kneeeeeeew you were full of s****", and started buying them. I'm not saying it makes sense, I'm just saying people can, do and will think like that when they really shouldn't.

tbh though, i don't even know what point i'm trying to make at this juncture

My son could drink them for Scotland and they cost a fortune. I’m saving money now he’s gone to uni. Over 18 years if I’d just bought shares instead of the juice I’d be retired by now.
