Surely AJ retires after that? He was all over the place. Should've been stopped at least a round earlier.
You've made your money man. Please, stop.

Joshua should retire and Dubois is an average champion. Fury in his pomp would have knocked out either of them. I listened on 5live and I’m glad I didn’t pay for it.

Said it would be closer than people are saying but didn't expect that. The first round hit was the winner, Joshua was on the ropes literally after it. Some bravery from him and all the fighters that step in the ring. Can't see Joshua being at the top again after that destroying, but he had a very good career and raised the profile of boxing in the UK.

Queensberry promoter Frank Warren said to DAZN: "It was a phenomenal fight and I always felt it would be a Hagler-Hearns situation. AJ showed his heart right until the end. It was a brilliant fight.
"I always felt Dubois would do it and he has. It's not a turnaround, it was there. He was a young man and had double fractures in his eyes, he couldn't fight. He hurt him [Usyk], I'd like to see him fight him now but he has to fight Tyson now.

Think aj will take the rematch, he went in underestimating Dubois. Didn’t have his hands up and I think he thought he would show up and win. Time will tell if he will come back but the fight shouldn’t have went on past round 3

AJ, for his own sake, needs to pack it in. He can't take a punch. I realise how ridiculous that sounds in relative terms, but he was all over the place tonight.
I worry for him if he continues.

Thought Joshua sounded like a total erse after the fight, talking about how he could kick off but he’d keep it professional and show respect to his opponent. Then went on to say that a lot of mistakes were behind the loss. He gave some credit to DD but it came across as grudging and arrogant to me. The way he was talking you’d think he’d lost on a dodgy judges decision, not well beaten.

There was no lack of heart from Joshua. Quite the opposite really, he kept getting up and wanted to continue. It's quite ironic he landed his 2 best punches of the fight just before getting sparked but that's the risk when you open up after already being hurt.
His punch resistance just seems totally shot and he was never blessed with an iron chin to start with. I've given him plenty credit after his last few fights and he's had a brilliant amateur and probably career but for his own sake it's time to call it a day.
It wouldn't shock me to see him v Wilder now though. There isn't much else for either of them and it would still do decent money for a final pay day.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

He will do the Dubois rematch by invoking his rematch clause as is his mindset.

now Hearn saying joshua does have a rematch clause in his contract but Warren claiming his man doesn't seem to have a rematch clause in his carbon copy contract lol

With Usyk And Fury tied up and Parker as the only other really genuine option then Dubois would be mental not to just take a rematch for crazy money against someone he's emptied in easy fashion

Would it not be the other way round?
If the champ loses they’ll want a contractual guarantee of a rematch, but the challenger won’t be able to demand that, nor are they really entitled to it if they lose they’ll want a match

@MichaelBensonn
Eddie Hearn on what he's told Anthony Joshua to do next following the Daniel Dubois KO: “My advice is don't do anything until Dec 21st - the Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury rematch. If Fury loses it could set up a big fight vs Joshua, if Fury wins he could take a voluntary defence vs Joshua. It's still the biggest fight in the division by a mile.

Big fight tonight - could be a classic - Beterbiev v Bivol.
Can't call a winner on this - guy with a 100% ko record against a guy with an excellent technical style.
