The first foul isn't a yellow

Has he been booked for kicking the ball away?

Man city guy done a much more obvious one earlier with no action

Ref bowed to the growing pressure imo

Regardless, he knew he was already on a yellow then goes and does that in the middle of the pitch. Beyond foolish.

If it's for kicking the ball away, it's unreal. Arsenal the only side in that league that get punished for that.

Oliver should be nowhere near this game.

What happened when the city player kicked the ball away earlier?

And that wasn't right after the whistle was blown?

The ref was losing a bit of control of the game earlier - how can he know trossard heard the whistle?

It's the rule, he should know not to be so stupid. Especially after Damien Rice getting sent off for similar actions recently.

    Trossard at fault.

You’d think they’d maybe have learned then. Stupidity and not exactly subtle.

Absolutely it's the rule. Why is it only applied to one team?

Doku done it 10 minutes before, nothing. Szbozlai done it last week for Liverpool. Literally blootered it across the park. Nothing. Joao Pedro, nothing.

    Refs are a dreadful standard.

You don't have to be paranoid to support arsenal but it helps? 😁 No idea, I don't want every game so can't say how consistent it's being applied.

But Trossard should not have even taken the risk, especially when on a yellow already.

It was applied to Nottingham forest earlier today

Amazingly, the twin cheeks are kept apart again for a semi draw.
Only met each other in a semi final 12 times since ……………….1889!!!

It goes unpunished in nearly every game. There will be plenty times where Arsenal players have got away with it. It’s been highlighted lately because they’ve had two players who have been daft enough to do it when already on a yellow.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good old victim complex.

If anyone can hold out here it’s Arsenal. City get to the edge of the box and have absolutely nowhere to go.

Thought Man City looked a wee bit ponderous midweek and similar today.

    They are missing something.

Yeah they are absolutely brilliant defensively. City are used to the low block though, if there is any team you'd back to break it down, it's them.

Mind that time some couldn't believe how Arsenal were dropping Ramsdale for Raya?

Looking pretty sound decision making now

There’s a low block then there’s this. Never seen anything quite like it. The City defence are pretty much lined up on the Arsenal 18 yard line.

Think that was passes in the opposition half, in the second half. Still a stunning stat

Raya has been world class since his Brentford days.
    Great keeper.
