Very - and from what I hear there's little chance of a viable solution.

Hirsel is/was a decent enough course but was always susceptible to flooding and I know it was closed on numerous occasions over the summer.

Pat Nevin was a keen member there.
Played it for the first time about three years ago. Followed that up with another couple of visits the following years. They did a three day golf festival I was a fan of. Nice wee layout with tricky wee scoreable holes on the original nine hole layout, even though not a fan of a blind par threes and some tough holes on the newer holes. Real shame.
