Best thing Harris can do is have debates with him, anytime anywhere. Let him talk.

Apologies if you already know this stuff but I've only come across it - Forensic psychiatrist Dr Bandy Lee on Trump's mental decline. It's a bit scary (stuff I suspected I suppose) but I was able to follow it all the way through and funnily enough found it quite calming.

She needs to come out and endorse Harris. Put this to bed. It’s not like she’ll lose out. Her Eras tour is completely sold out and the money in the bank.

I saw a video of her raging with her Mum and Dad re Trump and the persecution of woman’s rights, Wade v Roe destruction by the GOP in Tennessee. Her old man was telling her to stay quiet, she was rightly enraged.

Strong hints that Kennedy will drop out and endorse Trump. Although his vote share is tiny, if it moves to Trump that would be bad news.

If this is real like Nixon who tried to stymie peace talks with the North Vietnamese before he became president, promising them a better deal if he was elected, Trump is a traitor.

True, but if he does endorse and takes those votes with him, it's a big problem I'd think.

I don’t believe Trump can win again. I think there is a ceiling for him and it’s below 50% of the vote. I think that will start to show as we get into September and October and Americans start to pay attention and we’ll see Harris start to pull away in the polls.
I don’t think the US wants to go back to Trump.

As a dem spokesman said last night its a conspiratorial candidate combining with another conspiratorial candidate. It's not a huge amount of people and not all of Kennedy's followers are going to vote for Trump.

Probably cancelled out by the uptake in youth voters registering and Swifty's.

I watched a bit of Walz speech yesterday and his home spun charm and midwest accent should hopefully appeal in some of the swing states. His stories of being the high school coach were a bit saccharine but he came across as a hometown hero kind of guy which might sit well.

I did laugh when Fox News produced a list of the terrible things he enacted as governor or that he believed in. Such horrors as 'expanded free schools meals', 'supports body and health autonomy for women', 'supports subsidised or free healthcare for the elderly' and 'supports tax rises for the rich and cuts for the middle class'. All of it made me think he seems a pretty decent guy all things considered, particularly compared to the alternative.

He is looking like a fantastic choice for VP. His back story is almost impossible to attack.
The Harris campaign has been flawless so far. And their refusal to engage with Trump other than to mock him is working fantastically well.

I like the ad but I think the taking the piss out of Trump is more effective now. All the people horrified over Jan 6 are already won over. Emasculating him with the rest is a better strategy.

Yep, a timely reminder of the danger of the man will catch the attention of some voters, the ridiculing will catch the attention of a different demographic. Covering their bases

Vance is attacking his military service. Saying he jumped ship before his territorial unit shipped off to Iraq.

The actual answer is Waltz handed in his notice well before the unit was mobilised. He resigned so he could run as Governor of Minnesota.

In late 2004, Walz submitted his retirement papers. Walz then filed official documents to run for the U.S. House of Representatives in February 2005.In March, the National Guard announced a possible deployment to Iraq within the next two years for Walz's battalion. Walz said he would deploy if called upon.[54] The National Guard completed processing of his retirement paperwork in May and Walz retired from military service on 16 May 2005.
