Think the issue is there is a floating banner at the bottom that doesn’t move that covers the button to move into full screen. You basically have to continuously press up and down to get it to show. I think the issue might be that it has been designed (as you’d expect) for mobile or PC platforms rather than TV.

Very frustrating, but eventually managed to do it. Dreading having to do it for every game.
