Anybody ever watched The Responder on BBC? Martin Freeman is a scouse copper. Watched episode 1 over the weekend. Unsure what to make of it tbh

I stopped after season one. It didn't seem plausible. The central figure spent his shifts sorting out his own problems. He didn't seem to do much responding!
In a city like Liverpool he'd be run off his feet.

Really enjoyed Slow Horses. Cracking theme tune, too. It's a kind of comedy thriller drama, but 'failed' spies, rather than police.

Shrinking about a group of physiatrists with Harrison Ford was great
I loved and broke my heart watching Trying about a London couple trying to conceive it is very funny though

Series i liked, Five days at Memorial about a hospital during hurricane Katrina is gripping
Lessons in chemistry, about a woman trying to break into chemistry in the 50s is brill
For all mankind, a thriller about if the space race didn't stop and where it would be
Crowded room, murder mystery set it the 70s

I really liked Manhunt in Apple as well…based on the aftermath of the Lincoln shooting re the manhunt for the shooter but flits back and forward to before and after.

Interesting enough as a standalone series but also quite informative on the politics of the time around the civil war and the subsequent shenanigans
