The Mosquito Coast on Apple Tv, an inventor and his family have to flee America and make a perilous journey across barren lands to reach Mexico city after being taken in by a Cartel boss and then escaping

Really enjoying it and in 4 series watched so far we still dont know why they are on the run, the baddies are on their tails though 😬

Sounds like a lot of good stuff on apple TV but I can't get it on my TV.

Don't you need an apple phone though. We only have android devices.

I think you're right in terms of Android phones/tablets though it is available on some Android powered TV devices like Chromecast, Fire Stick, some Android TVs. I read an article that said they reckon an android app for Apple TV + might be on the way as someone saw an Apple job ad with developing one listed as one of the duties.

Apple TV is one of the best for shows, just started presumed innocent with Jake Gylenhall and so far so good, only thing I hate though is waiting each week for the next episode

Aw man, wish I could wipe it from memory and rewatch it.

The scene with the planes taking off at the end of Ep 1 gives me chills.

Life On Mars is on Netflix, nearly 20 years old now but still excellent TV.

I just got round to watching the Frasier reboot after watching the original 11 series back to back. I know I'm in a minority but I thought it was quite good.

Not as good as the original obviously, it would be almost impossible to be, but after the first 2 or 3 episodes it felt like everyone settled in and I thought it was fine. I certainly don't get the 'it's totally ruined it for me' stuff. With Peri Gilpin confirmed to return as Roz in a recurring role in series 2 I think it will continue to pick up.
I'm with you. Quite enjoying it.

First couple of episodes are awkward as they throw a few new characters and situations at you.

I remember the first couple of episodes of original Frasier too. The dynamic between Frasier and Niles is clunky in their first meeting and the same with Frasier and Martin. Nothing close to as polished as it finished.

Anyway. The episode where Frasier tries to get with his and Freddy's blind dates, and the one with Nick Lyndhurst wearing an antique gauntlet at a founder's club meeting, both good. I'm only up to Lillith coming back for a ten-pin bowling party - "I'm doctor Sternan, I was here last year for my son's birthday, and I'll be wearing my own shoes"! 😀 Loved it.

Show has a bit of promise.

Don't know what took me so long but, just finished the final season of Ray Donovan, brilliant programme. Eddie Marsan was particularly outstanding in a brilliant cast.
