Whilst it is enjoyable to see the Tories imploding like this, is it just me that feels a little bit of frustration that the bookies are allowed to stack everything in their favour and take whatever bets they want, knowing full well that they'll always be in profit. But as soon as a punter has some knowledge that could stack the odds in their favour they cry foul and claim it shouldn't be allowed and potentially get the police involved? Don't take a bet on something that someone could conceivably know the answer to if you don't want to lose.

It's a bit like card counting to me, it's not illegal, but casinos are quite happy to take everyone's money when the odds are in their favour but as soon as someone comes in with a highly developed skill which allows them to tip the odds ever so slightly the other way the casinos hate it and blacklist people for doing it.

    I hate bookies and casinos.

Funny I was about to mention him in relation to the posts above your post about the PPE. It wouldn't surprise me if he was benefitting from the storage of the PPE. His business is storage units - the one in the old Jenners building at Balgreen, for example was one of his (he appears to have resigned as a director of it now though).

I don't like bookies and casinos either but I can see their point when the element of chance is removed by nefarious means.

Nefarious used only because I like the sound of the word 😆 I hope that in future history it will be used a lot to describe the former crime syndicate known as the tory party.

Kemi Badenoch, criticised by David Tennant, and her only response is to play the race card.

OK, I'd have no problem with her criticising what Tennant actually said, as it could well be considered as over the top, but that's a pretty poor way to approach this.

Amanda says “I have always voted Labour, but for the first time in my life I will be voting for Greg Hands.”

“I have decided to vote with my heart and for the local community where I live.”

That is a corker, will they never stop?!

More and more I really can't understand why anyone would vote for them this time around.

Surely even die hard Conservative supporters would want to send a strong message to their party by way of withholding their votes?

the Good Law Project produced this short 20-min Docu the other day about the effect good old 55 Tufton street has in rubbishing climate change, and the anonymous donors who drive it.

My grandfathers had to go to war to fight Fascists and here they are in our country and in the mother of Parliaments.

We need to get our boots back on their necks in this country!

Sunak resigns as leader. No surprise. However, some WTAF moments in his speech. Speaks of the need to uphold tolerance. Ironic given some of his policies.

“This is the greatest country in the world”. Well except for the USA where he will be swanning off to ASAP if he can get his green card back.

Had to check this wasn't a parody. Rees-Mogg is doing a reality show for discovery. It'll be like a history show watching an 18th century bigot. Watching him lose his seat might be bants though

Chief Secretary to Treasury Darren Jones told #Newsnight last night that "the government communication service was spending hundreds of millions of pounds on filming content for Conservative ministers’ social media channels".

Genuinely replied to wrong message sorry. The article you shared is outrageous. In a normal party she wouldn't be able to run as leade. The car she could excuse but the holiday will be criminal no, as bad as Matheson?
