Snap, runny bloody nose with enough snot to fill an elephant's trunk.
    Boggin eh?

Feel like I’m shaking it quite quickly but realistically it’ll be Wednesday before I’m fit to do anything other than flop around the house.

I cut the grass this afternoon and feel wiped.

    Sounds like a wrong 'un!

I don't feel tired or ill in any way, just a nose full of snot.

Costco!!!! Popped into Costco at 10am, to be told that ‘individual’ members could no longer gain entry till 12pm nowadays. I was generously told that I could go to the Customer Sevices counter on a one time only basis for permission to shop before 12pm. Went in to find a queue of around 25 folk waiting for ‘the white smoke’. Decided not to join the peasants in the queue but dumped the trolley to have a wee look around and take in all the ‘privileged’ corporate and small business members filling their trolleys. As far as I could see, the vast majority of shoppers were Joe Bloggs individual customers like myself. I can’t really understand why they’ve gone down this road.

There’s always been earlier entry for Business members. Maybe they are just enforcing it now.

Ok, fair enough, but I would have thought that, given the needs and expectation of Business members, I would have expected the place to be full of them, but I would hazard a guess that 95% of the customers at 10.15am were individual members who presumably had to stand in an enormous queue for a long time. Bottom line is that I now know that it’s afternoon shopping only from now on. I hope their policy doesn’t apply to the petrol pumps.

For as long as I can remember, Trade and Executive card holders were allowed in 2hrs before "individuals" during the week.
I actually upgraded to the individual executive card a few years back, it's an extra £40ish, I didn't do it for the extra hours (would never use them) but the 2% reward/cashback actually pays for my membership.

coincidently, they had a little pop-up stall in Livingston centre two weeks back, i got in to the costco near ikea a few times with my daughter a few years back when she was dating a dude in the army and borrowed his card, i was aware it was, imo, a bit elitist the criteria for membership so i thought i would enquire if it had changed, army was the one i recognised along with a few others but i'd already thought nothing had changed so i just politely departed, i think it costs a few quid even just for the little pop-up stalls in the centre so i wonder if they got enough new members to make it worthwhile, any other time i passed they were just talking to themselves.

I’m not in the store all that often but it’s mainly for butcher meat which I think is excellent. I regularly buy petrol there. That pays for the membership.

Banks, I got euros from the post office today, told them how much I wanted and paid by chip and pin, job done, I need money to pay a plumber tomorrow and went to the cash line, couldn't take money out as I've allegedly withdrawn my daily limit, called the bank and they are blaming the post office saying its classed as a withdrawal rather than a sale so it counts towards my daily withdrawal limit, now I need to actually go to the bank in person tomorrow rather than simply going to the cash line twice

People that say wildly inaccurate statements on tv/radio or podcasts and it goes unchallenged

Today I listened to the BBC football Scotland podcast and Leanne Crichton confidently asserted that Mcgregor was like a fish out of water on friday because he never had Gilmour in beside him and they'd played so well together throughout qualifying

We played together in 3/10 matches. None of which were Norway or Spain.

Seems reasonable to me. Cash is cash, regardless of currency.

to me it's like me purchasing something, I've not used an ATM, I've went to the post office to buy an amount of Euros, to me it's no different to buying a TV, I should still be able to walk outside and use a cash line to take out sterling

Similar to what Linekers panel said about Albania. The only reason they got to the Euros was because they increased to compliment to 24 teams competing. Albania won their group consisting of Czech republic, Poland and Moldova

Not sure if this belongs on here or on the Driving Pet Peeves thread, but anyway....

People whose vehicles, cars or motorbikes, are unnecessarily noisy.

The most common are the Boy Racers motors with devices to make a ridiculous racket when they put the foot down... but the ones that have been annoying me most recently are the motorbikes that make a sound almost on the level of a low flying plane.

There's a couple that drive around every evening near where I live and the racket is just ridiculous. They've actually woken me up a few times after midnight

It's a good job for them I no longer have a gun!

Princes St as opposed to Princess St, or anywhere from Pilrig St to Elm Row as Leith Walk.

That reminds me that a few years back I was at hospitality at Almondvale for a Livi v Hibs game. They handed everyone a key ring as a memento and it said Livingstone FC. Funny thing was when I pointed out the error, the folk handing them out hadn't even noticed it. Tinpot club.
