Ella Robertson-McKay, that'd be the one with her as MD and her mum the co-founder of the charity One Young World which was investigated for senior staff salaries and bonuses paid, it concluded with an "official warning" and the charity found guilty of misconduct or mismanagement and breach of trust.

Would you buy a used car from him?

Would he know where the petrol goes?

Tories hooring around their 'greatest hits' policies/grifts for one last farewell tour.

How TV presenters keep a straight face is beyond me. I did hear the term "news performers" recently, so it's mibby that.

It's pathetic eh basically hit benefits to fund others wealth. I just laugh when I see a labour or Tory budget saying we'll get x amount from tax evasion, no you ******g won't you've never cared before and won't now

They’ve had 14 years to go after tax evasion (which they don’t care about).

What about Michelle Mone and the PPE scandal, Brexit (he who should not be named), small boat incompetence, abhorrent Rwanda policy, the Post Office, Grenville and combustible cladding across the housing market, Windrush and trying to deport people who were babies when their parents came to this country to rebuild it and the mini budget?

    Their time is up!

The traffic of hard cash through the City to Magic Island Banks is the elephant in the room with this economy. Their logarithms have rung people dry and its natural progression means it never stops. As long as it is more profitable to sneak profits offshore than invest in the nation we just have to put up with being rinsed.

you have somehow managed to encapsulate government policy for themselves and their supporters over the last decade or so, the manifesto they all understood but never openly discussed.

    https://news.stv.tv/politics/scottis...ys-dualling-a9

The headline figures in the article is misleading. Divide the numbers by the miles of dual carriageway and single carriageway to get an accurate pet mile figure

For reference the section they are talking about is 30 miles dual carriageway and 80 miles single carriageway.

Indeed. A headline of 'Tories want more people to die on A9' would make as much sense.

Huge Ipsos poll out later today. Will be a good indicator as to how much **** they’re in.

    Edit, it’s just dropped

    Labour majority of 256

    · Labour: 453
    · Conservatives: 115
    · Lib Dems: 38
    · SNP: 15
    · Plaid Cymru: 4
    · Reform UK: 3
    · Greens: 3

SNP on 15 seats! That must be at the lower end of their expectations.

Seriously hope none of these 3 Reform seats are Farage. Will be delightful to see him lose his 7th or 8th election.

Maybe a real job would be the unmaking of him.

If Starmer has even the slightest inkling of geopolitics he'll have someone on the cabinet hammering the message of "russian money", "putins payroll" and "russian connections", as that is NF's ultimate boss.

Maybe he's acutely aware of the links between the old "new" labour element of his party and russian money.
In fact i doubt Mandelson would let him play that card given his directorship at russian weapons manufacturer Sisterma which he held until 2017, even after the annexation of Crimea.

I dare say there are more than Mandelson who have been inveigled to whatever degree. Purge them. Nothing like a good purge. Release the Russia report, compile a list. Get the press talking about that rather than the latest Tory Party catchphrase or their infighting or their trying to out-jingo each other.

I know most of their day to day will be sorting out the debris of the ******stastrophe that lot have left behind, but on the world stage a bit anti-putin theatre can only. Or will he stall to see if Trump gets in?

So far 4 people close to Sunak are being investigated for alleged betting fraud linked to the date of the election.

To be honest if I'd thought about it I could probably have put a bet on about torys being dishonest about this.

It would have been crap odds I suppose. The torys are dishonest about everything.

As in, there I was walking along the pavement in an honest conservative sort of a way, when suddenly I tripped over a loose paving stone, fell through a Turf Accounts shop door, whilst trying to keep my balance I accidentally picked up a betting slip and pen as a result of the severe head injury I didn't receive, to my horror I found that I accidentally put a large wedge on a date I thought a general election might accidentally happen on in an accidental sort of way?

    And so did my husband.
