    Some serious questions about recruitment.

Also the B team plan - has anyone actually played B team and managed to break through to first team football regularly?

If we are loaning players what’s point of B team.

Would rather have a smaller squad and better quality than larger squad with half of them playing elsewhere.

The B team usually consists of 18 and 19 year olds, loan players not getting enough game time, and first team players not getting first team minutes. And those coming back from injuries.
I’ve great hopes for Jacob McIntyre.👍

Most weeks i have a we look and see if our loan players have had any game time. I knew McKirdy hadn't played in several weeks and someone mentioned he was injured and back up here.
McKirdy 28, has not played many minutes and is now injured. He's toast. Horrific waste of big money.

Nohan Kenneh, another one who has not played in several weeks so again guessing injured but not heard anything.
Kenneh 21, played lots of minutes for Shrewsbury until the manager changed. Very good defensive bid but still hopeless on the ball, hence dropped.

Murry Aitken, noticed he was back on the bench for Airdrie on Friday, so hopefully he's fit and can get some game time before the end of the season.
Hibs supporters should note his surname is Aiken. Played well until his bad injury in October and it was good to see him on the bench on Friday

Megwa starting again and O'Conner getting 20+ minuets
Megwa has progressed well in his loan. A shame he's not a left back as he is ready and would be a good back up for Obita next season.
O'Connor has played little football this season. Was given 20 minutes on Friday to get regulars of the pitch and rested for the play offs. Another loan required for him next season.

Boruc still starting regulaly for Arbroath but shipped another 5 goals yesterday
I looked at Pie & Bovril recently and Arbroath fans were praising Boruc. He's certainly had plenty of practice in an ill equipped team who at one point in January only had 13 fit players including two keepers and 5 strikers.

Dylan Tait again getting the whole game for Falkirk
Only a season left on his contract and he's not ready for Hibs. Think he will move to Falkirk on a free with a sell on percentage in case he comes good.

Kyle McClelland aging getting the whole game for QoS. He usually plays CH but looks like he could have been at LB last couple of games.
A poor start at at Queens but has improved massively and is well rated by their supporters on Pie And Bovril. One to be assessed at pre training.

Oscaar MacIntyre whole game for Annan.
First half of season at Queens and second half at Annan. Another loan next season.

Rubin McAllister last 20 mins for Kelty, think his game time has been limited.
Only a year left on his contract. Good player. A contract extension and another loan may pay dividends

Malik Zaid, got 80 mins and an assist for Edinburgh C
    Another loan next season

Jacob Blaney again, whole game for East Fife
    Another loan next season

Robbie Hamilton 25 mins for East Fife
Contract ends in a month. Will be released.

Riley Harbottle got last 20 mins for Colchester. He has been out injured, did play last week and has played regularly when not injured.
Will be assessed at pre season. Needs game time.

I've not really been keeping tabs on Henderson or Delferriere.
I've watched highlights of all Oostende games this season and Henderson has been very good.
Has always played when available, has played well and scored goals.
They have an option to buy but have been in financial trouble so we might get him back or be able to sell him to someone else.
No idea how Delferriere is getting on in the Czech Republic

I've added my own comments and additions which are highlighted in your post above
IMO Megwa and Henderson have improved most of those out on loan and an honourable mention for Aiken who did very well before his injury.

I have similar thoughts to you on most of the highlighted comments. Particularly happy to Aiken back and as i say hopefully gets some game time. McClelland looks to be one that has come on as well, not sure if he has moved to LB the last few games.

Suppose the obvious one missing is Rudi Molotnikov. Is he getting any minutes as from the small bits i seen of him for first team looked promising for such a young guy

Kenneh, Harbottle and McKirdy will all be back at East Mains next week and Montgomery will get a good look at them over the next 3 weeks.

Rudi has played 128 minutes in 6 league games in difficult circumstances given Stirling Albion are now in the relegation play off place. The only upside is he may get more gametime in the play offs.

Massive last game of the regular season against Annan who they are equal on points with Stirling. Oscar MacIntyre is at Annan so they might be fighting tooth and nail against each other next weekend to save their respective teams. A draw is good enough for Annan to survive on goal difference.

I've been going to city games when we're away from home. Rudi got about 5 minutes and a shot on goal (which was dealt with by the City keeper whose been decent in the circumstances) but no much time to do much else.

Malek is having a good loan, loads of ball and seems one of the main men. Agreed he'd benefit from another loan at this or Champ level next season.

That list shows who Montgomery was referring to when he mentioned contracted players not contributing.

Boruc, Delferriere, McClelland, Harbottle, Kennah, Tait, Henderson and McKirdy is a lot of money tied in players who should be in the first team squad but weren't good enough. Think there's also Mackay at Livingston which means we have almost a full team out on loan.

The other players are all developing youngsters so aren't included.

Slightly harsh on Boruc, he was 18 when he signed, so I’d include him more in the developing youngsters group than the others (who I agree with you on). I think that’s especially true of young goalkeepers, they’re much less likely to get flung on for 20 minutes than an outfield player

I've said it a few times, we have a few highly regarded players. Will it be a new golden generation? Probably not but I have high hopes for Johnson, Jacob and Rudi.

Megwa like others have said has done really well on his loan spell so that is another young player who could make the grade.

Then we have players like Reuben and Blaney who have impressed at youth level.

Alot of people had high hopes for Oscar at the start of this season so I don't know if there is still time for him.

Zaid unfortunately I don't think will be giving the chance to make it at first team level but could be wrong?

Josh is another who despite looking ok for us in his cameos he has made in a first team shirt I don't think will make it at first team level.

I'm always for giving a player another chance under a new manager so who know with Henderson.

Boruc was 20 when he signed (21 now). Your point is still valid about young goalkeepers - but I'd rather Murray Johnson was given a chance ahead of Boruc.

Josh landers , is the best striker in the youths, although he has been injured recently.
    He’s a big unit.👍

Freddie Owens on loan to Civil Service Strollers, played as a trialist yesterday?
Clean sheet and a penalty save in a 0-0 draw with Stenhousemuir.

Did he sign a new contact, last note from Hibs were they were in discussions
He little or no football last season as he signed as the development goalie, and then Boruc and Johnston played in front of him

    New one year deal.
Loaned to Civil but was put down as a trialist yesterday.
Damaged ankle ligaments at the start of last season no sooner over that then broke his wrist.
