It’s a huge number of goals and it is absolutely killing the game. Saying otherwise is just silly as we all see it happening
I don't. Game is perfectly alive in my eyes. Just changing.

I prefer VAR to no VAR

The only thing that could be argued is that in theory, VAR sounds great. But The way it’s being implemented is atrocious and that is causing delays, inconsistencies, goals being chopped off/red cards being given when no one else sees anything wrong with the original call. Until that is ironed out, if it ever is, then it’s not working.

You only need to look at the decisions and time it’s taking to reach the decisions as evidence.

I actually really like VAR when it's ruining other teams games, it's quite funny, adds to the theatre, but not so much when we're getting robbed. Then it's not funny at all. Var is a bit like Graeme Shinnie, fine if it's working for you, can't stand it when it's against you.

Next season there has to be more consistency, especially around hand ball. It's been the one thing that's caused way too many problems this year.

Sounds just like the on the field refereeing over the last 10 years. Surely nobody can be surprised by that.

I was looking at a few clubs forums and see Nottingham forest have been deducted 4 points for breaching FFP , that now puts them in the relegation places .Luton might escape the drop yet .

VAR is ruining the game. To say otherwise you either enjoy waiting about for a goal to be decided by someone watching elsewhere, taking away the 'in the moment' feeling of celebrating a goal. Or you know it's been bad for the game and just want to go against popular opinion for the sake of it.

If there was any sense in Football, they'd realise it's made the game so much worse and get rid.

Or you were adamant it was going to be so good for the game/made such a fuss about football NEEDING it, that you're not going to budge now that it's been proved to be absolutely *****.

It's here to stay unfortunately - too big an investment and fuss made for them to go back now. Stuck with it and all the pish that goes with it.

Ever meet anyone who didn't think VAR was a good idea for football but now thinks it's great..?

And Man City continue on their merry way. The EPL is a disgrace in that respect.

Either the EPL lawyers are making a watertight case, or they're bottling it. I know where my money is. You're talking titles stripped from them, huge points deduction and potential demotion. Yeah right.

The speed at which Nottingham Forest have been done is remarkable. Mind you, they don't have a country behind them fighting their case.

Man City are fighting the case with the best lawyers they can buy.

Other clubs are co-operating so those cases are being handled quicker.

Nothing crazy about it. The premier league have no choice but to punish City big time. It will happen.

It’s absolutely shocking. Everton and Forest easy targets. City 115 charges and still the square root of heehaw done. I mean, even our biased and rotten league managed to deal with The Thes financial cheatin…and that’s saying something

Completely disagree, the EPL are having to cross every T and dot every I because they will be up against some of best lawyers in the world. The case is massive and they can't afford to be made to look like fools in court. If Man City are even found guilty for a third of the offenses they are f****d.

It's nothing to do with bias. City are fighting it. Forrest and Everton didn't.

Everton appealed it and the punishment was reduced, I think Forest might also.

the four points given is a reduction from an original six points because Forest helped with the investigation early doors

There's not "heehaw done". There has been dialogue between the 2 parties since the charges were brought. Every single charge of the 115 will be discussed during that dialogue. Some will be accepted, others compromised on, others denied.

They're now at the point where a formal hearing is expected sometime later this year.

Yeah, I await to see if your last sentence is true. I have zero faith in them being properly punished.

Worrying times for the Everton fans even if they don't throw the book at Everton this time and issue a similar point deduction they are back into the relegation places .

I think part of evertons defence is "double counting" ie we were points deducted for much of this already, as the offences look at the 3 year picture, and evertons main outlay is the new stadium (less than it is players). So that might be a lower deduction than forest got, if what everton is saying can be proven to be true

Aye. But they fully cooperated. City aren't.
