About half way through Love/Hate on ITV X.

Any fans of Kin should give it a go. Nidge is a great character. Got more of a trainspotting vibe to it compared to Kin.

I watched the first couple of series years ago, never quite got round to finishing it yet.

How many Walking Dead Spin Offs are there? I see there’s yet another new one. I watched the original series until sometime in session 2 (when they made it to the prison) and lost interest. Watched one of the prequel spin offs, was only about 6 episodes (Fear The Walking Dead?) but my word they are milking the franchise to extremes!
When i had my knee replacement, i was laid up for weeks due to complications. The walking dead got me through some very long nights, yes it got a bit daft towards the end, but i can say i did enjoy it mostly right to the finish.

I've not watched any of the spin offs.

8 seasons worth of Fear The Walking Dead, don't think I'll bother.

Just finished the last episode. Best thing I've watched for years.

The river, bbc4 yesterday. Just watched it and it was life affirming.

90 minutes about the river Tay, stunning images, brilliant commentary. Makes you feel good.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Just finished One Day on Netflix. Not my normal cup of tea but I found myself secretly enjoying it.

Edinburgh looks great in it and it's got a cracking soundtrack which helped.

    An easy watch, 7/10.

I loved the films but the series stinks. Truly dreadful.
    Every gimmick hungry yob,
Digging gold from rock and roll

Oh I much preferred Season 2 to be honest! Think Bren really added heft in more ways than one and Frank is much more believable.

It’s a good watch either way though that’s for sure.

The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair is very good, a superb performance from Patrick Dempsey.

I think it's because Bren is such a psycho and takes over I find it a bit frustrating. But he's far more what you'd expect from a "gangland leader"

Will probably finish the season this weekend, looking forward to seeing where it goes

I would tend to agree with this, extremely unlikeable character but, the guy plays the part well.

First two episodes of Shogun are really good, if it keeps it up then could be a really good series
