    All the ties are televised
Is that a new thing this season? Never known all the quarter's to be on TV before?

No one is just going to hand us this cup ffs.. We are at home, there should not be an empty seat and as Hibs we should be drowning those dirty sectarian bar stewards out. Hopefully the stadium security is tight and there’s none of them squeezing 2 folk inti the away end on 1 ticket. #GGTTH 💚

We're long overdue a performance against that lot, particularly at Easter Road.

I'd actually have preferred an away tie at Ibrox with a large, vociferous following behind us.

Will be poorly attended given season tickets aren't valid.
And, if as suspected its the Sunday, its also Mother's Day - ready made excuses on a plate

Aberdeen a horrendous team a cup final and a home tie away from another semi

    I’m not jealous

Kick off will have a big bearing. Evening kick off will have a far different feel for us having a go than a quiet noon Sunday morning.

Game will be played to a finish don't mind the draw.

    Just said the same elsewhere.

When it was down to the 2 of us left in the hat I think I would have preferred us to be away.

Agree. Away we’d have filled a big chunk of the Broomloan. At home, at 30 odd quid, you’ll be lucky if 10k Hibs fans bother. That said, we should still have a better chance at home.

That would make a pleasant change.
About time we faced a penalty shoot out and won it - so I’ll take that right now

And will still win as much as Hibs likely will this season.

Cup rules means they must get the whole stand.

Are Rangers in Europe on the Thursday night?

That'll make us the Sunday game.

We won't be allowed to win that. Next year I guess.
    Correct.

A Beaton and Walsh double act ref/VAR will ensure Hibs don't go through.

I’ve spent too much of it watching us against hearts at hampden 😁

    When are these ties played?

Bit of a ****ter tbh but we were always likely going to have to beat at least one of the cheeks to win the thing, at least it’s at home.

    4 games televised each round.

10% I think, so 2,000 not 3,500. But no point mentioning it as Hibs just want the money.

Makes us the Sunday (late as possible, not a chance it’s 12-1) kick off

They are indeed. The cup tie is between their last 16 match. That will work to our benefit in my opinion.

On the Sunday I suppose. Rangers in Europe on Thursday and us at Dingwall midweek after
I was just about to say that, will be the Sunday, hopefully not 12noon or so

  25. #114
Do we play them in-between 2 of their European games?

  26. #115
Rangers get 20% so the whole stand
We will fill the other three sides
    And we will win

We must put on a better performance than we have against them this season
A 4-0 defeat at Ibrox and 0-3 at ER
Monty needs to get his tactics spot on for this one

Should be a brilliant tie. No question we are more than capable of winning on our day especially with some of the quality we have brought in.
No question? When did we last beat them?

  31. #120
If our ultimate target is to win the cup and get guaranteed European football until Christmas this is a good draw.

The Yam have 3rd place basically sewn up. To trump them and get this European bounty we need to win the cup and to get one of the main rivals (the sticky buns) at home and remove them gives us the best chance.

We won the cup the hard way in 2016. Knocked out the Yam after being drawn away, beat the holders Inverness away and Rangers at Hampden.

Will have to be the same this year.

    It's not impossible.
