    'The Hibernian' fan led programme

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere. I got an email from HSL which mentions this 'fan led matchday programme'.

I know it had been spoken about when the club binned the official programme a while back but I didn't realise it had ever gotten off the ground. Is it any good?

It is into its second season now

A 28 page Hibernian Programme is available from Brian’s Programme Shop Albion Road The East Stand and other outlets for the fans by the fans for only £2 with all profits going to local charities and The Hibernian Foundation

Iggy Pope late of this parish is one of the driving forces behind the Programme with contributions from Maurice Dougan and Kenny Barclay

Saturday’s Programme included Match Reports, an article on Mickey Weir, My Happy Place a feature on why Hibs fans support Hibs, Development Squad News, Fixtures and Results, An Australasian Hibs Xl, ex Hibee interview, On This Day Programmes, Activity Pages, The Away End and Vintage Hibs

    At £2 what’s not to like ?

    Edit

I like it because it lists opposition squad numbers so you can see who is kicking us 😀

Has the official Hibs HQ mag quietly sunk without trace?

The last one was a tribute to Ron in Spring so we’re overdue one. Perhaps it had too many references to the previous management squad and ended up binned as a result?

I've not bought a programme in years but if the shop is open on wednesday then I'll pop in and buy one.

Last issue I believe was the one with the mugshot of Darren McGregor on the cover

You're right actually. So I guess we're nearing the time for the next one but not technically overdue as of yet?

It's brilliant, lots of hard work goes in to producing it, I can only imagine the logistics of pulling 3 together in the space of a week.

I also love the way SY deletes people from the Facebook page who try to sell their own 'gear'

Ended up buying 3 past issues as well as tonight's offering.

I can't read it all as I've not got my 🤓 but first impression is it's really high quality, with great content.

It's an impressive effort for a fan produced programme and everyone involved deserves a lot of credit.

Programme Shop had sold out yesterday at 1.45pm but was told that there were some on sale in the Club Shop and the East Stand

Seems to be really taking off

The boys and girls did a great job to churn out three programmes in the space of a week

    Well done

July 2022. 😉 not this season.
We started producing the programme again in October 2022, for visit of Motherwell.

Especially the bit where Hearts wanted to give the 16 year old Gordon a ‘ trial ‘ against us but we don’t hang about we just signed him and our ‘ Trialist ‘ scored a hat-trick against them at Tiny
