my hun supporting mate would prefer his side dropped in to the Europa group stages, he at least realises that's the level for them

from what i saw of sellick on sunday they will be the whipping boys this season, again
I find it odd you have a hun supporting mate with your opinion of them

Luzern are miles better than the team Aberdeen are playing tonight.

They look a mid SPFL team

Talking of Luzern while we are beating ourselves up. We beat a half decent team. Im pretty sure had Luzern been playing Villa last night they wouldnt have lost 0-5. We know Villa are operating at another level or 5 to us but having acknowledged that we didnt do ourselves justice. Players didnt perform, our game plan was all wrong etc etc. We should have done much better, i wasnt expecting a win but a bit of a battle might have been nice.

Youan Dente and Boyler all carry a threat but against a team like Villa it was an extravagance having them all on the park at the same time when the back four and midfield emulated a seive. The only way we were going to make it a battle was to compact the midfield and keep it tight at the back, played with perhaps 5 at the back but sadly we dont have the players or the tactical nous.

That's a poor goal to concede.

You can't know that. We scored 3 against them at ER and 5 on aggregate.

Villa possibly wouldn't have been as motivated against them, Scotland v England, SJM, media hype etc, but they're so good that I'm certain they'd put the tie to bed in the first leg.

Because people assume other teams have a 100% success rate with their signings.

In all honesty does anyone really care about Scotland's European co-efficient? Whenever I see a Scottish team apart from Hibs playing in Europe I instinctively want to see them gubbed. Way back in the 80s I didn't feel that way and I remember supporting Aberdeen and United quite fervently in their European quests, but these days I'd happily see Hibs qualify simply by being good enough to do so and hang the rest.

We are miles behind Aberdeen, another player we should have been in for, Nicky Devlin.

Sadly Aberdeen got a very favourable draw. Can only see them going through to the group stages of the Europa League.

Devlin, McGrath and Findlay at Kilmarnock.

3 signings that aren’t “wow” and people would say are underwhelming.

But all 3 would start for us imo.
